Theo Curtis

Theo was about to start jogging towards the mess hall when he saw that he was standing in front of the Cotton Store, just a building over from the student dorms. He knew he was in room 2-A which would probably be on the bottom floor, so it should be pretty quick to dash over there and drop off his luggage. It'd certainly be a lot more convenient then carrying it everywhere... After he found his room, he laid his suitcases on one of the beds and dashed out of the dorm building to find a train had taken up residence where there wasn't one before. Since everyone seemed to be boarding or getting into position to board, Theo just joined in with the crowd and found a seat somewhere. A train does make way more sense, I'm pretty sure it'd take at least half an hour to walk all the way. That'd be a pain to get between the dorms and classes every day. The boy waited for a few minutes as the rest of the passengers boarded, then with a sudden lurch the train began moving. Maybe moving was an understatement. It was straight up booking it down the track, jet-fast. Theo thought the headmaster was speaking, but he was too busy holding on for dear life to the seat he was sitting on to really pay attention that much. I... May... Want... To... Walk... Next... Time... he whispered under his breath as he looked out the window next to him. He couldn't even tell what anything was, unless the entire campus was actually a blur instead of just looked like one. However, the high speed train did an excellent job at getting them where they needed to go incredibly quickly. It took significantly longer to just board the train then it did for the train to move all the way across campus. After the train stopped, Theo took a second to breathe and calm his heart which was beating rather heavily after that whole ordeal. After he calmed relatively down, he pulled himself to his feet and waited for an opening in the mass of people trailing towards the exits. As he waited, he turned to the student waiting in front of him and asked, "Hey, did you catch any of what the headmaster said? I may have missed... pretty much all of it," and followed up with a sheepish chuckle. It was at this point that he realized the knuckles on his right hand had turned slightly white from gripping his thermos too hard, and so moved it to his other hand and began opening and closing his fist to work out the tension. "I might have been a bit distracted during his speech." -Anyone feel free to be the student he's talking to, otherwise he'll just be a throw-away NPC-
