Ulf Egilsson roared with the rest as he disembarked from the Odin's Whisper and made his way up the beach alongside his fellow Norsemen and women. He kept up with the rest of the raiders at a sprightly jog just behind the men at the front, and despite the weight of his armour and helmet, which he favoured for its unparalleled protection and sinister appearance, he had no problems keeping up with them. He held his dane axe in two hands up over his shoulder so that it was poised for an overhead swing and roared to his fellows as the alarm bell atop the monastery began to blare "Good! Now they know that we are coming!"
