Ashley huffed and side-eyed Mikale as he drew near her. He said something along the lines of "You really shouldn't bite off more than you can chew," as he joined her in the midst of the fighting. As if. She gripped her wooden dagger as she placed her hands on her thighs, trying to catch her breath, but the spirits didn't allow that for long. She ducked as one of them attacked, only a hair's length away from striking her. "Go away, I don't need your help," she called out to Mikale, who was also fighting off the creatures near her. She wasn't a damsel in distress, she didn't need saving. "You'll just be getting in my way," Ashley said while blocking an attack that almost knocked her off of her feet. She grunted and pushed forward, barely overcoming the slime-creature as she placed her makeshift dagger in it's chest. Breathing heavily, she posed in a fighting stance, waiting for her next attacker.
