The storm made vision difficult, as well as thoroughly soaking the aberration. Even through the storm, though, she made out the form of Chris flying through the air, setting fire to what seemed to be trees below. The forms of who Allison assumed to be Zoe and Kusari also seemed to be present near the trees. A massive wall, surrounded by what looked like steam had been erected between the lighthouse and the ferry. Allison thought about using the shard to break down a chunk of the wall, but before she could move to take action, her eyes fell upon a massive, demon-like man struggling against Lawrence, Hazel, Sander, and Callan. Allison broke into a sprint. By the time Allison got close enough to see the fight clearly through the storm, she knew for sure she was a bit late. Callan, Sander and Hazel were all certainly wounded, with Lawrence administering first aid to Hazel as best he could in the rain. If only Allison had gotten their sooner... There was not time to contemplate how things could have gone better. Allison summoned the shard, and quickly moved in closer to the fight. The shard didn't manifest as her blade this time, instead, the long, glass-like object floated in the air, just above her shoulder. It certainly was strange that the shard floated without dissipating. Allison was still perplexed by the new shard, despite having summoned it a few times out of curiosity during her hours alone in her room. Why was her power changing? As interesting as the question was, the shadowy monster man and her dying friends were slightly more important. Allison was about to loose the shard when a massive boom erupted from the wall. It took her a moment to realize what exactly happened, still reeling from the shock of it. The light of the lighthouse had been thrown at the wall, the subsequent impact drowning out even the storm for a few seconds. Allison turned back to the enemy, attempting to clear away her foggy, lustful thoughts as well as the shock from the sudden distraction. The loss of those few moments could have cost her allies their lives. Allison let the shard fly.
