Also, I don't think a dude who's as experienced as he is and has been through what Gregoroth has would be petty enough to dislike a student just because they're better at him at something. Gregoroth would actually respect Ilya for that, since his main goal is to make powerful Inquisitors of the children he's supplied with, and thus would've taken an interest in the young boy's skill.
