[b]Loyalty:[/b] Erubescan Knight [b] Description:[/b] Standing at 6'5", Darrien is the perfect image of a dashing knight, with a slightly pale skin tone, deep blue eyes and gold blonde hair. Most of the time he shows himself in public, he wears his crimson colored knightly armor, however, when not on the job he wears a simple black T-shirt alongside a pair simple jeans. [b]Personality:[/b] The dashing young knight, as many people have described Darrien upon seeing his personality. He has always been a calm, kind young man, always helping those in need, no matter of their background and no matter the task, this type of personality has gained him quite a bit of renown within Erubesco, however, Darrien's true personality is a emotionless, cold and calculated one acting towards the things that would be in his best interest. [b]Skills:[/b] - As expected of a Knight, Darrien has become very powerful in combat, so much so that he has become quite renown for his close-combat skills as possibly among the best in Erubesco. - After so many years acting like a diplomat, Darrien actually has become quite skilled at diplomacy he feigned to have in the past. [b]Weaknesses:[/b] - Despite his speed and power, physically, Darrien is a lightweight, meaning he can't take a lot of punishment before he's out of commission. - Darrien prefers and has extensively trained to be an ace in close-range combat, however this means that he has mostly ignored long-range combat and while he isn't awful with a gun, he is nowhere near skilled enough to be very effective in a combat situation. [b]Brief History:[/b] Darrien was the son of a fairly prestigious Knight and it was expected of him to inherit his father's skill and his father's prestige, but he was unlike his lively and boisterous father, he was cold and calculated, doing the thing that would benefit him the most at the lowest cost to himself, however, he learned that with his current attitude he would not be able to do advance within society at all and decided that it would be within his own interests to act like the Knight he was. His father, though suspicious of this sudden change in behavior, chose not act upon them as Darrien was able to fit better within society like this. And that he did, in acting like the knight his society presented as a model, he was able to fit in and was soon to be knighted alongside his sister, Alya Elcove and introduced to the world at large where he only served to gain more fame as the model knight of Erubesco. After tinkering with the powers a bit, she has found a few creative ways of using her gift in combat. Though she wears her armor when on the job, nearly every every occasion she gets she wears either a simple black T-shirt or a gray tank top with a pair of cargo pants. [b]Personality:[/b] Alya is every bit like her late father, lively, friendly to nearly any one other person and stubborn to a fault! However, when it comes to proving her skill, she shows her more competitive side, always seeking to outdo her opponent in whatever competition there is. [b]Skills:[/b] - As expected of an Erubescan Knight, Alya has been trained in most forms of combat, showing much skill in both ranged and close quarters combat. - Alya, as part of her training, has shown a great amount of agility, much more than many of her current peers. - She has learned to use her powers in combination with a few set martial arts moves for a more effective style of combat(think of the firebending in Avatar). [b]Weaknesses:[/b] - Alya is stubborn, so very much more than her father was, so if she has something in mind, it is highly unlikely that she will change it's mind about it very soon. - Despite her skills as a knight, she has a rather weak constitution, making her more prone to diseases and making her a fragile person in general. [b]Brief History:[/b] Alya was born second in the Elcove family and though she showed enough skill in combat to become a Knight like her father, she was always overshadowed by her more, cold, calculated and skilled brother, however she prided herself in something that her brother could never take from her, her social skills and though she would never gain a prize from it she was happy nonetheless... until he took that from her as well. In order to be fully welcome into society, her brother, Darrien, had taken to acting like a regular person, he had seen her talk to her friends, he had heard how knights were supposed to act, combined the two into a mask and wore that mask ever since, a mask that made him gain a certain degree of fame within Erubesco as a model knight and it earned him a title as well, The Crimson Knight and so he outdid her... yet again, though she understood why he did it, she could help but despise him for a few moments, before remembering the words that her father had imparted on them before he passed away. "You two have your differences and you must not like the other, however, you two are a family and family has bonds that can never be broken." And with that, she swallowed her pride and smiled towards her brother for once, though it would be difficult to keep that smile for a person she did not like for a good part of her life. [b]Other[/b]: - Dragon's Breath: Not really a special move, but just a way for her to show off her power. Instead of shooting flames from her hands like she usually does, she fires the flames from her mouth much like the mythical dragons would. - Plasma Cutters: By increasing the temperature around her hands and feet to the point where the oxygen around it turns to plasma, she is able to turn usual punches and kicks into very dangerous attacks. - Heatstroke: Not really a move per se, but she can heat the air in a 15 foot raidus to unbearable degrees for other people to the point it would cause people heatsroke, hence why she called this move like this, however, she rarely uses her powers like this because they are not that strong in a combat situation [/center][/hider] [hider=Aran Sairan] [center] [b]Full Name:[/b] Aran Sairan [b]Nicknames/Aliases:[/b] The Doctor, The Grandfather, the Gentle Giant [b]Age:[/b] 45 [b]Gender:[/b] Male [b]Gift:[/b] Scanner: Though it has a relatively simple name, this power has few more branches to it. The simplest one being that he is able to sense any living being within 30 feet, or if he is searching for a certain object, the power to sense where that object it. The second, more powerful part of his gift is that upon touch, he is able to sense the purpose of the object and it's history. Upon touching a human, it works the same way, he simply has to touch a human being and he will be able to see that persons personality, gift and entire history, from birth up until that point in less than half a minute, however, unlike objects, the living being he touches may resist this if their willpower is strong enough and if it's a telepath touches, then it will be completely impossible for him to do it. [b]Loyalty:[/b] Erubescan Alchemist [b] Description:[/b] Aran is a massive man, towering at over 7'2" feet tall with fairly stocky and muscular build. You'd expect someone this size to be a intimidating man, yet the light smile that is always present on his face and his kind personality would lull anyone into believing he is only a gentle giant. [b]Personality:[/b] The gentle doctor, the kind doctor, is what most of the people of the slums used to call him and true enough he does act nice towards people he thinks he should be nice, gently towards people he thinks he should act gentle around and not to mention being patient with those who deserve it. However, other than his patience, none of his emotions are really true, it is only mere acting on his behalf, the only emotion true to him being curiosity about humans and how they function, however, he does not lack any emotions, but one would have to go to great lengths to wipe the ever present light smile from his expression. [b]Skills:[/b] Intimidating- While he does not intend to be so, as soon as his smile is gone from his face and he frowns, he becomes one of the more intimidating people one person's going to miss. Unarmed Combat- When you grow in slums where even the slightest mistake could get you killed, you learn to protect yourself, one way, or another. Surgeon- Taken under the less than reputable tutelage of a disgraced surgeon living in the in the slums as a child, he has learned surgery up to nearly a professional degree, most of the time forced by his tutor. As he grew up, however, he sought to expand his knowledge [b]Weaknesses:[/b] Bad Leg- Aran had quite a bad accident in the past whilst working on one of his accidents, with a few pieces of metallic shards stuck deeply into his leg and while they were removed and his leg was saved, his wounds never healed as he still walks with a limp and feels a certain amount of pain if placing too much weight on it. Inexperienced with Guns- Guns are not foreign to him, however, place a gun in his hand and he could probably be unable to hit the side of a barnyard from six feet away. [b]Brief History:[/b] In Erubesco, it is rare for a person to advance from their current status and live their lives from birth to death as perhaps a serf. However, Aran and his sister are two rare cases and while his sister is a case of having a powerful gift to help her advance his was about skill, despite being born as the son of a serf, his medical knowledge was very advanced considering where he had grown up and though it took some time, he had been able to catch the attention of the higher ups of the society and was allowed to be initiated as an Acolyte. As the years passed, he extended his medical skills even more and as he advanced to the rank of Alchemist, he soon became fascinated with gifts, not one particular gift, but gifts in general, while they were a ever-present part of life in this world it wasn't that easy to understand for most people where and why people had first obtained gifts in the first place and then a thought sparked into his head. The people in this world now, all had a sort of Gift, but they were born with it, what if he could extract someone's gift, leaving them powerful, what if he could place said gift in another person... what if he could create his own Gifts? However, his train of thought was broken when news of most of his family's deaths arrived. His mother, his father, his younger brother and his elder sister, all had died and not even peacefully, they had been killed by someone, but by who it was unknown. The only survivor of this ordeal was his younger sister, who had not been attacked in the first place. This affected Aran Seiran greatly and for a week, he stopped work for an entire week as a part of mourning. Though he did begin working again, he has been seen supervising his sister, Anna Seiran more often now, probably to make sure she is safe. [b]Loyalty:[/b] Ashlander Headhunter [b] Description:[/b] To the few people that have seen how he looks, Specter looks quite like an average person with short chestnut hair and brown eyes. His height certainly does him no advantage as he stands at about the average 5'10". All the time he spends outside, he is seen his combat and rarely if ever removes his mask when talking to a potential customer. [b]Personality:[/b] Having lived inside the Ashlands for much of his life, scraping out a living as best as he could. This in turn has turned him into a rather ruthless person. And while he is friendly enough when he is not on a mission, he has not made any friends for the belief that one day someone might hire him to kill that person. However, despite that, he does have a code of conduct he abides by, putting it above anything else and rightly so, considering that this code of conduct has not failed him yet. [b]Skills:[/b] Mental Resistance- Over all the people he has killed, quite a few of them have had a mental based gifts, such as telepathy, or similar things that peer into one's mind, so over time, he has learned to keep his mind empty when around a person with telepathic gifts. Combat Experience: Specter has had his current occupation for nearly two decades and in those two decades, he has fought a great deal of people, both from a range and from close quarters, meaning that he has two decades worth of experience in both types of combat, making him quite a powerful opponent in combat. Survivalist: The wastes are a harsh place, even if you are part of a settlement. Specter, has lived in the wastes his whole life and has in turn, learned to survive within them. [b]Weaknesses:[/b] Ruthlessness: While he acts friendly enough, Specter is of the belief that he does not need friends and even the few "friends" he has, he would kill if a contractor would offer a high enough price on their heads. Glass Cannon: While he is able to deal quite a high amount amount of damage, Specter is not able to take much punishment and while his gift itself nearly makes the worry of him getting hit by a physical attack null and void, it is not quite so. His gift does make him invulnerable to physical attacks, however, he can maintain the gift for a minute before having to rest for ten minutes to be able to use his gift once again. [b]Brief History:[/b] Specter is as mysterious as his name might suggest, nobody truly knows about his past, what is known is that he has been "haunting" the Outside for some twenty years, completing all of the contracts he has assigned to with brutal efficiency. [b]Other:[/b] While he does accept nearly any target, he will never accept contracts that have him kill high profile targets from any of the major factions as it would limit him greatly, contract-wise. And while he does not consider the Wanderers a major faction per se, he has shown reluctance in hunting anyone part of this group. However, whether he refuses hunting them because he does not wish to anger them, or because he sympathizes with them is yet unknown. Combat Equipment: Sniper Rifle, two pistols with silencers, two hunting knives, 4 flashbang grenades, 4 smoke grenades, 2 fragmentation grenades and respective ammo for each of his guns. While his gift does allow him to become essentially a ghost, he can only do it a minute once every ten minutes, giving him a total of 144 minutes of him being able to become a ghost.[/center][/hider]
