Name: Koritomo Gender: Prefers a Female Form Appearance: About 13ft tall

Personality: An honorable woman, Koritomo is surprisingly kind compared to her late father. She protects those that need protecting and has always welcomed the children of those Gods he respects to train with her realm in the Dojo she set up in her Castle. In her mind, those who wish to pursue knowledge in the art of war are always welcome as long as they are not of a domain she finds to be lacking severely in honor. Koritomo does her best to be fair to those she feels she deserve it, but to those she sees as an enemy she has no want to waste her time on them. Weakness: Honor would be my biggest weakness. I am held by my word, if I say I am going to do something I am bound by my honor to do it. If someone beseeches my honor I am bound to listen and if someone needs help and that cause is honorable I am bound to assist them. Major Domain: War Minor Domains: Battle Tactics and Honor Your Avatar:

Stance: Though furious about the death of her father War, Koritomo understood the need to put him down and stop him from taking over. She does not hold it against those who struck up against him, nor is she against those who worked with him, despite her thoughts on them being dishonorable. However, she is not exactly best friends with the one who killed her father, though it does help that they no longer exist, as much of a grievance as it is.. Loyalty During the Rebellion: Koritomo took no side, instead she opted to remain neutral as she did not Agree with her father, but she had no desire to fight against him. Center of Power: It appears to be one of the 5 spheres on her Wakazashi, it’s anyone’s guess which one. Superhuman Charisma: This allows her to boost the moral of her soldiers, giving rousing speeches before a battle and in some cases, making treaties with those who attempt to force their way into her lands. Hive mind in Battle: This allows her to communicate her wants to her soldiers, allowing them to work as one and share tactics and changes with the ebb and flow of battle. She knows when someone has been killed, she feels the pain of her loss but keeps that to herself in order to keep her soldiers in the best fighting shape until it is time to collect the dead and give them a proper cremation. Tactical Precognition: Only in battle is War able to see what her enemies are planning to do, it is only in the heat of battle that she can sense when their tactics will change and when they are planning to flee. Should they choose to cut tail and run she will allow them to, as she sees no honor in a victory laced with the slaughter of those who no longer wish to fight. Weapon/Armor manipulation: Weapons and Armor all have a limit to the amount of beating they can take, but not the ones that she supplies to her Armies. A blade will not break and armor will not bend, it will not chip and it certainly will not break. Fear Inducement: Much like she has an Aura of Courage for her people, her presence to the enemy holds and Aura of Fear, her imposing presence striking into the very hearts of those who oppose her. Godly Equipment:
This Nodachi does not rend flesh from bone, nor is it stopped by any known armor or cloth, but instead rends the very soul of her opponent from their body. Should she strike a limb, it becomes useless and atrophies, never to be useful again. If it strikes a vital organ it fails, leaving the opponent to a slow death unless she strikes the head or spine killing them instantly and turning their bodies into smoldering ash. The only weapons that can even hope to compete are that of the other Gods.

Water: When choosing this ring, the speed of her attacks increases, making her a deadlier foe indeed. While they are not as strong as if she had chosen fire, they are just as deadly from speed alone. Air: When choosing this ring, the speed of her movement increases exponentially, making her a formidable foe to track when she simply does not want to be caught. Earth: When choosing this ring her armor becomes unbreakable, making her defenses nearly impenetrable. Fire: When choosing this ring, the force of her attacks amplifies to twice that of what it was, allowing her to attack with full strength and abilities. Void: Armor functions as normal armor, but she gains a connection with the earth, she is able to sense her enemies attacks and while she cannot attack or move quickly, it gives her a sense of the battle. This is on a personal opponent scale.

War fans varied in materials, shape, and use. One important function of a war fan was signaling. The chosen fan of Koritomo is called a Tessen, a folding fan whose outer spokes were heavy plates of iron or solid clubs shaped to look like a closed fan. These types of fans were made to look like ordinary fans and were used by samurai as weapons in places where swords and other weapons were not allowed. Tessen fans were also used for fending off darts and knives. She uses this fan to activate her ‘hive mind’ ability, as well as uses it in defensive maneuvers. The best thing about this War Fan? Even if you knock it out of her hand, she can just pull another out of her obi.

Handwoven from the silk fibers of the White Desert Moths, the robe was a gift from X, god of knowledge, secrets and magic upon her ascension to Godhood to commemorate the first of the third generation of gods. The long flowing robes billow in the slightest breeze, like all White Moth robes made from the fine silk, yet these robes bear enchantments placed on them by X himself. With magic of the winds, the robes allow her the swiftness to fly through the air and levitate freely as she pleases. With the magic of the forests, the robes will mend itself and her wounds, soothing pain with its gentle glow her skin. With the magic of the flames, the robes will may ignite and reveal the fierce fires as a defense or used offensively to hurl fireballs with the roll of its sleeves. And finally with the magic of the mountains, the robes shall protect her, the thin material as sturdy and unshakable as the mountains against attacks despite the soft look. It is sufficient as any armor that may serve her in battle, and the once white robes grow redder with every victory.
Demi Gods: None Name of your Land: Hindogan Lands: A surprisingly large Island chain, Hindogan is home to an insane amount of flora and fauna. About 130 species of land mammal, over 600 species of bird, about 73 species of reptile, over 3000 different types of fish, far too many insects to count, and around 4000 to 6000 species of plants that occur naturally. Upon the islands there is a variety of climates, allowing for a variety of crops to be grown and traded. For plants that cannot be grown naturally there are greenhouses, a primitive form but one that works all the same. Where there is no place for rice, barley and the like, there are mountains, peaks so high that some claim they even touch the Heavens. Rather than horses however, the lands are covered with Ki-rin where horses would be, some even allow samurai to ride them into battle and each has their own special ability. People: Similar to the people of Feudal Japan, those of Hindogan believe heavily in Honor and tenants of Bushido. Culture: Cast system is in place:

Koritomo (Avatar as well)
Emperor/Empress
Samurai
Farmers
Artisan
Merchants
Eta
Tenants of Bushido:

Honor
Duty
Compassion
Courage
Sincerity
Honesty
Courtesy

The samurai, members of a powerful military caste in feudal Hinodegan, began as provincial warriors before rising to power in the 12th century with the beginning of the country’s first military dictatorship, known as the shogunate. As servants of the daimyos, or great lords, the samurai backed up the authority of the shogun and gave him power over the mikado (emperor). The samurai would dominate Hinodegani government and society until the Meiji Restoration of 1868 led to the abolition of the feudal system. Despite being deprived of their traditional privileges, many of the samurai would enter the elite ranks of politics and industry in modern Hinodegan. More importantly, the traditional samurai code of honor, discipline and morality known as bushido–or “the way of the warrior”–was revived and made the basic code of conduct for much of Hinodegani society. Within the Samurai Cast there are three types, the Bushi, the Shugenja and the Courtier. Bushi are the Warriors that focus on physical combat, they are the armed warrior cast that wear armor and train with a variety of weapons. They focus heavily on martial arts as well as Tactics of Battle depending on their Dojos. Some focus on personal combat and others focus more on the battle tactics that assist with Armies and mass combat. What holds them together is Bushido. Shugenja are the Priests, those that call upon the elemental Kami with prayers asking to borrow their power to fight. They do not usually wear armor and are not known for carrying weapons, though some learn to use their bodies as weapons should it be needed, as well as a War Fan for defense. Their ‘spells’ rely heavily on the Kami agreeing to their requests and even if it is agreed, the power is only allowed for a certain amount of time dependent on the spell used. While they too follow the way of Bushido, they are far more intune with the minor gods within their lands. Courtiers are the final group within the Samurai cast, though they do not fight and when challenged to a duel they select a champion. These individuals deal with the politics of court, arguing on behalf of their lord or the betterment of the country as a whole. Despite them not being fighters, they are just as important as the rest, as Court is a battle all its own.
Technology: The Samurai of Handogen utilize a variety of weapons favoring the Bow, Spear, Matchlock and the sword. Their armor is typically made of bands of steel plates that are bounded and shaped to the individual and then attached via rawhide or silk cord to a silk or rawhide backplate and worn over tough, usually, cotton or wool clothing. The entire armor is intentionally rigged with quick release strings in order to remove certain parts quickly to make drawing a bow easily or incase they need to swim. Capital:

Toshi no Hi (City of Fire) earned its name thanks to the vibrant red color of the buildings within the city. It is highly populated and because of it being a main trading hub it is extremely prosperous. Koritomo’s castle is located towards the head of the City on a cliff that overlooks the seas, the Dojo that she allows the God’s Children to train should they wish to do so. Unlike the rest of the city however, her castle is while and pristine, no dirt seems to ever stick to the building and the cliff it rests on never seems to erode, as if enchanted against the ebb and flow of the sea. Within the city are those of the Samurai cast that protect the streets and the peasants, the Artisans do their work and the Merchants sell their merchandise to passing individuals who have the coin. Despite the cast system existing, Koritomo ensures that all her people are well off, even the Eta who are in charge of sanitization. In her eyes, even in the Celestial order everyone deserves to eat and should the Emperor or Empress overstep their bounds, she ensures that they no longer have the blessing of their God through her Avatar, Kinoko.

Kami: Elemental Spirits called upon by the Shugenja through prayer for their spells. They are Benevolent and help those who call upon them as long as their reasons are just.
Spirits: These vary between Malevolent and Benevolent, some try to harm people while others try to help. These creatures are not prayed to, but often can bring good fortune to homes/families or bad fortune.
Eastern Dragons: Creatures of untold Wisdom and Strength, usually linked to an Element. (Water, Fire, Earth, Wind and Void)
Fortunes: The Higher Spirits of the realm, these spirits are allowed to reside in Hindogan with Koritomo’s blessings as long as they do not cause problems. The Two Fortunes are:

Fortune of Honor Meiyo
Fortune of Battle Tactics Tatakai

Oni: Oni are not weak or casual foes, and even the weakest oni is usually tougher and more dangerous than goblins, ogres, trolls, bog hags, and other less horrific denizens of the Shadowlands. Furthermore, each type of oni is unique and different from every other type. One oni with horns and a tail may require different tactics to kill than another that also has horns and a tail, and unless someone has encountered a specific type of oni before they cannot predict what each type can do or what their weaknesses are.
Yokai: Yōkai range diversely from the malevolent to the mischievous, or occasionally bring good fortune to those who encounter them. Often they possess animal features, other times they can appear mostly human, some look like inanimate objects and others have no discernible shape. Yōkai usually have spiritual or supernatural power, with shapeshifting being one of the most common. Yōkai that have the ability to shapeshift are called bakemono/ obake.
Naga: Naga have the upper body, arms, and head of a human, albeit one whose skin is covered in a fi ne layer of scales. Their lower body is that of a great serpent, usually three to five times as long as their human-like torso. Depending on bloodline, from head to tail a Naga can be as short as twelve feet or as long as twenty-five or more. They are usually four to ten feet tall when reared back to “stand” upright, and they can rise up on their tails to achieve extra height. Female Naga have the ability to change their tails into a pair of humanoid legs through magical ritual and concentration, allowing them to traverse areas where the males cannot go and to mingle more easily among other races. All Naga partake of the Akasha, a sort of collective mind and “well of souls” that connects all Naga to each other and to their ancestors. It is the influence of the Akasha, constantly whispering to every Naga within his own mind and soul, that makes it all but impossible for Naga to fight each other.
Nezumi: Physically, the Nezumi appear to be rat-creatures with some vaguely ape-like features. They normally stand upright but can run on all fours just as easily, and their long tails (about two-thirds as long as their bodies) are semi-prehensile, allowing them even more maneuverability. They have rather human-like hands with opposable thumbs, but their digits end in sharp claws, and their mouths boast a formidable set of frontal incisors which can chew through wood or even soft metal. Nezumi vary widely in height, with some tribes being as short as four feet tall while the more aggressive tribes have been known to produce warriors as much as eight feet in height. All Nezumi are double-jointed and are capable of dislocating their shoulders and hips, allowing them to crawl through any opening that can pass their head. Among humans this remarkable flexibility has given rise to the legend that it is impossible to keep a ratling captive.
Ki-Rin:
Fire: These Ki-Rin will burn anyone other than their rider and a Traveler to an extreme extent, initial touch gives 2nd degree burns, longer contact causes worse burns. It drowns anyone who touches it other than its Rider and a Traveler. Prolonged contact causes a slow filling of the lungs with water, starting with a hacking cough. Wind: This Ki-Rin can fly at extreme speeds. It suffocates anyone who touches it other than its Rider and a Traveler, if contact is broken the feeling of suffocation diminishes. It is the only one with 8 legs. It poisons anyone who touches it other than its Rider and a Traveler, the longer the contact the more severe the poisoning.

Have a little bit of History: Thatos, Koritomo’s father was not inherently a bad man, he did not believe in the Gods being ruled by anyone. It was because of this disbelief that he rose up against Ephra and because of his Charismatic nature he was able to rally other Gods to his belief. At the time, his daughter simply did not understand what his reasoning was, Ephra being in charge was how it had always been, he the father of Gods and it only made sense to her that he would be in charge. Due to her father’s uprising, and she simply not feeling comfortable going against him, she remained Neutral and assisted her Mother in keeping her people safe during the altercations. After the death of her father and her ascension to the mantle of War, she inherited his lands as well as his power. When she entered his domain, she was appalled by what she was met with. During the time he focused on his confrontation with Ephra, he seemed to have neglected his people, all his attention focused on the battle he was warring with the other gods. The monsters that the Samurai had been so adept at fighting had practically taken over, killing the people and growing far more difficult for the Samurai to fight. It was because of this that she founded Dojos to train the children of Kitsune who had taken human lovers. Something about these hybrids gave them surprisingly strong ties to the elemental Kami within the lands, which made them extremely valuable. With some time, she was able to rebuild the Domain and turn it from ruin to prosperous. During this time she also added her own creatures to assist in the protection of the lands she called her own now. Dragons, an idea she borrowed from Tian, based on the Elements of her realm. Due to her care and clear love for her people, they do everything they can to appease her and remain honorable to the best of their abilities until they die. Of course, there are some that still go against her, as loved as she is and as kind as she is despite her mantle. She put so much work into rebuilding the Domain and protecting it’s people that she has proven to be fiercely loyal, so much so that she does not tolerate anyone who harms her people without just reasoning.
