She didn't pay attention to the others, hoping they would come to her aid sooner rather than later. It wasn't until she felt the creature's grip loosen that she saw her chance. For a brief second, it paused, meaning something was said or done to give the creature pause. She hoped the others noticed it. In that instance, Lilith fought back. She attempted to drive herself out of the creature's clutches and crawl away, giving the others some time to attack the thing. It was all she could do, because if she couldn't, it meant the end for her. The others felt the need to continue conversing despite their imminent danger. Only the old witch seemed to have an ounce of intelligence. The young girl seemed to know this creature.
