He isn’t great at it, and only really does so when necessary. [color=a187be]-Telepathic Communication:[/color] With those very close to him, he can communicate telepathically. There must be mutual trust and a certain feeling of closeness between him and the other person though. Thus far he has only managed it with his daughter. [color=a187be]-Empathy:[/color] He can sense the negative emotions of others and is influenced by them. If around people feeling strong negative feelings, he starts to get weak and feel upset himself. Thus, he tries to keep everyone happy or at least calm. [color=a187be]-Hellfire Summoning and Manipulation:[/color] He cannot create fire of his own will, but he can summon it from the depths of hell, and manipulate it as he pleases. Under his control, the flames turn purple and white. He never uses this power to harm others however. [color=a187be]-Healing:[/color] He has yet to discover this ability, but due to his angelic ancestry he does have the ability to heal other’s wounds. [color=a187be]Appearance: [/color]When in his natural demon state, Noctus is tall and lean with dark purple skin, and kind looking, but blank yellowish white eyes. He has white hair that is long and has loose, fluffy curls and is kept in a loose low ponytail that he puts over one shoulder. There is a thin scar that runs from his eyebrow to his cheek, but he never addresses where or how he got it. The inside of his mouth is purple, while his tongue is a lilac color and textured like that of a cat. He has three sets of sharp fangs as well. In the place of normal ears, he has black cat ears that point downward almost constantly. He has a similarly cat like tail that is long enough to drag along the ground if he doesn’t keep it up. Growing from his head are two pairs of dark purple horns that get lighter as they grow. The smaller pair simply points upwards, while the larger and more prominent pair bends downward, going below his ears before pointing upwards again. Both are very sharp at the tips and he has to file them down most of the time. Growing from his back are four leathery demon wings that are purple with reddish pink membranes. Clothing wise, he wears a magenta t-shirt, black skinny jeans with a small rip at the knee, and dark red sneakers. Sometimes he wears a white hoodie as well. He prefers casual and comfortable clothes to anything else. He usually stays quiet about his own opinions in favor of doing what others want and not wanting to offend them. He is easily swayed and deceived. The only time he really speaks up about anything is if someone else is being treated unfairly. No matter who they are or what they’ve done to him in the past, if someone is being hurt or harassed he will help them. He likes to comfort people, and likes to give hugs to anyone who wants them. He’s kind of the dad friend and cares deeply about anyone around him. But he’s easily manipulated and it’s not hard at all to take advantage of him. [color=a187be]Background:[/color] Noctus comes from a very old family with a history of angels and demons intermingling. He does have angel genes, though they don’t show physically. There are also some succubus genes, most recently from his grandmother on his father’s side. He was always very kind, abnormally so for a demon. When discovering he could travel to the human realm, he ended up spending a good amount of time there. He eventually fell deeply in love with a human woman. He poured his heart and soul into caring for her and making his love known. Honestly, it was incredibly sappy and he often came off as overly clingy and romantic. Eventually though, they ended up getting married, and upon their marriage she was granted immortality to be with her new husband forever. Two short years later, their daughter was born, a lovely half demon child affectionately named Aurelia by Noctus. However, this is when things took a turn for the worse when only a few days later, his wife ran off without any explanation, taking their daughter with her. Only later, after a great deal of searching the human realm did he discover his wife had promised her first child to a witch, and must have been taking advantage of him. He tried to get his daughter back, but the witch wasn’t about to give her up. Half demon children are very special after all. He only gets to see his daughter occasionally, especially now that she’s grown older. [color=a187be]Other:[/color] -- [color=a187be][b]Human Form-[/b][/color] [color=a187be]Name:[/color] Noctus Flores Age You Appear As: Mid to late 20’s, usually. [color=a187be]Gender:[/color] Male [color=a187be]Abilities:[/color] Essentially the same as his demon form, though he cannot fly and now its much harder for him to summon hellfire as its much further away. [color=a187be]Weapon:[/color] None. He’s not one for fighting. [color=a187be]Appearance:[/color] He has the same, lean and tall body structure as his demon form. His skin is a dark brown color, and his eyes are light blueish-grey. His hair is similar in texture and style, but being a platinum blond rather than purely white. His scar is still present on his face. Though his human form looks a bit eccentric, the only feature of his demon self truly left is his tail, which he manages to hide by tucking into the pants he wears. He often will wear either a white button up shirt and black slacks, or the same white hoodie as in his demon form, and will keep his tail wrapped around his torso, along with the same black jeans. [color=a187be]Personality:[/color] Noctus is still very much the same, sweet guy as in true demon form. Nothing about him really changes as far as personality goes.
