Wonderful." Charlie muttered to himself in response to what Marygold had said. Now, the rest of the van couldn't even agree on how to split the teams up. Thinking back to common horror movie tropes, splitting up was always the worst thing possible to do. Still, this wasn't a horror movie. If it was any movie, it would be an action blockbuster... so all they needed was a John McClane or James Bond to save the day single-handedly. As if that would ever happen. At the very least, Charlie alone could provide all of the explosions necessary for a movie worthy of Michael Bay. "My powers deal with fire. Setting them, controlling them... kind of." Charlie interrupted the team debate to announce what he could do, just in case not everyone had heard about him. He hadn't been at the Institute long, after all. "I don't know whether it would be a good idea or not putting me near chemicals, but I can act like an incinerator if you need one."

Nina van Essenhout
 [sub]Location: The X-Van[/sub]

Nina crooked a smile in response to Carolina, though she thought it a shame that she could talk so nonchalantly about being shot at - it was no way for someone to live, simply because of they way they were born. As the discussion picked back up in the van, Nina's eyes shot to each person as they spoke. Everyone made good points (Though some did so childishly.) It was difficult to not be at least slightly amused by Allison's bubbly bursts of conversation, though the thought of Tony Stark showing up on this mission wasn't a particularly good one. If Magneto was present, Iron Man wouldn't be of any use anyway... but Nina simply wanted to avoid the man at all costs. The awkwardness of such an interaction would be terrible. Especially on a battle-ground. "Agreed. Guinevere and I should be on separate teams." She said, wondering why Cassandra had not mentioned Guinevere earlier when warning her about Pietro. Surely she knew which one would cause more problems to Nina? "I imagine Pietro by himself will be distracting enough without hearing snide comments in my ear all the time. I can take Ayita and Damon as well. It's a fairly balanced team, and those left over have a good balance too."
