~Heka~
They were safe, for now. Heka watched as Corona came bursting through the portal and as it neared closure, a bright light filtered through and Heka's eyes widened, but the heat he felt stopped when Corona thrust his hand forward causing the explosion to stop, at least from coming through the portal. Heka exhaled as he looked at Corona while bandaging a wounded mutant. He looked into the eyes of the young woman who was scared. Heka couldn’t help but feel as if they had forgotten something, or someone. Nonetheless, the woman in front of him had his attention. "Am I going to die?" she asked softly her breathing erratic. "No dear, you are not," Heka spoke gently and calmly as he exhaled and reached into the arcane energies of the universe. His eyes were closed, but when he opened them they were pure white and glowed brightly. The girl seemed scared for what would happen next, but Heka's hand touched her arm where the bullet had gone through and pushed hard. He was muttering something, a spell, and as he pushed, her wound slowly began to close. He continued in the ancient tongue and when then glowing in his eyes ceased, he looked down and the wound was healed. "Magic isn't as innocent as it seems, it is quite dangerous, but the gods have given you a chance at redemption dear. Do not waste it," he told the girl before standing. He noticed the large wolf and shook his head. This must be the one known as Morphling he read about in the files. He was thankful for the hacker who had given them the information on everyone who had been imprisoned in that damned place. There was so much to do and there seemed to be so little time to do it in, luckily Corona’s assistant would make sure everyone was taken care of, even the injured. Corona was walking towards him. He could see the look on his face. Something was wrong. When Corona spoke to him, Heka nodded. “Death comes to those who constantly knock on its door.” The howl from Morphling made Heka groan with annoyance. “And howling so loudly warrants the same.” When those who were going to accompany them were ready, Heka looked at them all before his eyes settled on Corona and then the wall behind them. Heka began to levitate, eyes glowing with power once more. “Aperi….,” Heka spoke his voice filled the area, like a multitude of sounds at once. “Ianuam. Ubi nemo!” He pointed his finger at the wall and drew a circle with his finger. On the wall a spell circle began to etch itself into it. When it was complete, a portal burst open and butterflies once again lined the portal. “This one will close once we go through, so be ready for anything,” Heka said his voice normal as well as his eyes as he landed softly on the ground. === Aperi ianuam, ubi nemo translates loosely to “Open the Door Where There is No Door/Entrance!”
