Matt did have one trick up his sleeve. A rope arrow. His only one with him. After the EMP Debacle he had to have new arrows. He fired it to the celing and used the coil that came out to pull himself up and out of the ground. He quickly fired one of the boxing glove arrows at her. Again his only one.
