"Hurt them...? Now why would anyone hurt them...?" That just wasn't fair, he couldn't get why anyone would attack the Yardratians. Then again humans had proven time and time again to fear the unknown. They had freaked out when Viral had been in the city, and even before when Takeshi was living on his own. A stupid reaction, especially when it was hostile. Considering how he used to be and how Viral could be it was a miracle no one had their head knocked off for saying something or trying to attack out of fright. Smiling at Goku the young Saiyan nodded his head, rubbing at the bottom of his nose sheepishly. "I won't hurt them, I swear. Give me a little credit will you? I've gotten better." Takeshi reached over and slung an arm around Shu's shoulders, wondering if his sibling might want to learn the technique as well. Rather than ask though he looked back to the portal, noticing how his brother was focused on it. Vegeta had come back from his little trip, and apparently he'd brought someone with him. Vegeta Jr wasn't too sure how he should feel about seeing his parents again. It was nice no doubt, it had been almost two decades since he had looked at anything other than a simple photo or watched an old family video. It was a refreshing change of pace, even if they were literally a world away from him right now. Seeing them now also made it a little more painful, as it was a reminder of just how much he missed them. A greeting from his father was enough for him to sit on for the time being, there were other people that the Saiyan wanted to speak to. There was so much to talk about, but he'd have to wait his turn. Looking over at Viral he smiled a bit, going over to join Yumi sitting off to the side. Whatever they had to talk about was their business alone, he'd respect that. "That's right Viral, it's me. Nice to see you again." Aito chimed, smiling gently again. To his dismay the Beastman didn't seem to share his sentiments, quickly beginning to back off and away from the Saiyan, averting his gaze. "Why can't I speak to you? We came here to see you and our son, will you honor our wishes? If it's too much to ask then we understand." "There's no reason to be afraid, Viral." June spoke this time, smiling sweetly as she let go of her husband, walking closer to the screen and looking directly at the Beastman. "Please talk to us? We've missed both of you so much, it's why we came. To see our son, and to see you. What's the matter? You can talk to us, you know you can." Takeshi watched Viral with an air of curiosity, not exactly understanding what was going on at first. When it was made apparent that these were Vegeta Jr's parents it hit him like a brick wall, his jaw dropping in surprise. Those two were definitely dead, by the Beastman's hand, This was a really, really awkward meeting then. Deciding then it was probably best to follow their friend's lead he gently took Shu's hand, leading him away from the screen and back towards the house, dropping down on his rear on the grass and gesturing for the other boy to do the same. No point in getting in the middle of this conversation. "Viral... Listen to me, we want to talk to you, we really do," Aito said, smiling sadly. "What's keeping you from us? You used to be more than happy to see us. Is it over what happened?"
