[@Dynamo Frokane] Just seemed a bit touchy, since it wasn't part of my point. But I agree/digress. Yes, hypocrisy and politics go hand in hand quite nicely. Hence, why I've gotten so sick of it. But I've realized [s]I'm too smart[/s][s] hmm, too stubborn?[/s] I'm too annoyed, to let misinformation spread too long...because I know it's still effective towards idiots. And admittedly seeing it on both sides, more and more often is kind of only pissing me off. -.- this is a general statement
To elaborate why Gamergate was even a big deal, (compared to old people thinking T.V, music, radio, and games were the next big evil that they will always do...That we were/or at least I was talking about previously.) It started as a simple movement to expose game journalists being shills and corrupt...but twisted into back and forth bickering about nonsense. But it only blew up because, people that grew up on gaming (or at least weren't old ignorant twats who seemed to use technology) started spewing the false narrative fear mongering of mainstream media outlets. And instead of blaming companies themselves, it changed quite quickly to blaming literally everyone (else). And the fact that it became backed/debated by non-gamer politicians on both sides (pandering/otherwise.) Eventually just grew into media is corrupt in general...and I would not be surprised if this lead to Trump being elected in some small way. Because it was the first time the "feel guilty and hate this entire group" of race baiting politics ever tried to actually blame people nearly everyone could relate to/already were. Or at least that's how I see it... I swear this isn't some kind of personal statement. I don't really want to discuss gamergate again...Plz. ;-;
Also that meme is disingenuous. Because far cry 4 wasn't about Muslims at all, among other things. And it's also not funny which is the only thing memes are suppose to be.
