Brief scenic overlay: It is a cool late summer evening, a set of moderately tall condominiums stand out against the local suburban looking area. The town isn't over sized or heavily populated, but large enough that it had all your modern day ammenities and conveniences. Grocery stores, a school, a church, a mall, the local walmart. Of course in times like these, being somewhere with an average hustle and bustle of normal city life wasn't exactly ideal. A series of subway systems also ran through below the town, once filled with agitated commuters, now no one dare venture into it's dark depths.

Frederick (Drake) Rezin

Brief background since outbreak: 
Drake has been through the ringer. He wasn't a survivalist, he was a mechanic, a programmer. THe guy hadn't known the first thing about actually firing a gun, though he could dismantle, clean, and put it all back together in the blink of an eye. These first few weeks were tough, as he couldn't find a safe place. Mostly just other asswholes trying to kill him for his stuff. However, he finally made it. A condo, thankfully the place seemed relatively safe and deserted. Well, Drake hoped that the place was deserted.

Supplies: Black backpack containing a few Liters of water, some canned goods and candy bars, her fathers army jacket
Brief background since outbreak: Her father was both a hunter and in the Military and had taught her from an early age how to handle fire arms. She had been at a Cabin hunting with him when the outbreak occurred. A stranger had attacked her father, she shot the man but learned how fast the sickness spread, having to kill her father violently after he reanimated and attacked her. She took his hunting rifle and pistol. She learned more on the news and took the car to head to the city to look for her sister. The violence in the city was much worse, and after multiple encounters she had finally made it to her sisters condo. Unfortunately no one was there, she stayed holed up there for a few days..thinking what her next move should be.
