She never had been big into drinking. Sure, sometimes she enjoyed a little something sweet, but it was unusual. In college, she never had been the type to go to parties. The only alcohol she ever used was ethanol--and that was just in order to finish off the use of Grignard reagent. None of her friends had been especially into partying either. The few that did had tried to take her out, but she never quite enjoyed herself. She was more content to stay at home and watch a good show, read a good book, or catch up on homework. Thanks, Deadpool Cecily thought for a moment at Thalia's explanation. She had wrinkled her nose slightly at the graphic explanation of how sex worked. She wasn't interested in sex and beyond that, the entire process seemed messy. Too many fluids. "I'm not that sheltered...," Cecily replied lightly. "I'm an asexual chemist. Don't get into that scene very often," Cecily then added, clearly teasing slightly. She didn't plan on drinking as heavily as Natasha described. She felt like a drunk comic book nerd wasn't what people wanted at a funeral. Having her go on and on about why Age of Ultron wronged Pietro Maximoff wasn't something that she expected would be taken well. Or her insistence that Firefly really did deserve at least three more seasons. She smiled at him, attempting to put him at ease, but the woman in the room with her had killed an orderly the day before. It was natural for him to be a little bit afraid of Jaina. Opening up the file, Iris skimmed through Jaina's history. She had been born to a military family, the twin sister of a renowned neuropsychologist. She had undergone experimental treatment at the age of 28 after a circus accident that had resulted in brain damage. The therapy only pushed her over the edge and she had been charged with second degree murder, only to be acquitted for mistrial. "Did they speak Russian in the circus, Jaina?" Iris asked, moving towards the patient notes section of the file. She understood the basics of Jaina's background and she couldn't help but feel that was the answer. Most schools didn't teach Russian in the United States from what Iris understood, yet Jaina had to pick up the language somewhere. The blonde woman paused for a moment, her expression turning rather serious. "Вы не изучаете русский язык. Русский учит вас," Jaina giggled, before her eyes went wide for a moment. She had told Nurse Cratty she'd stop with the Russian, but then again, the woman wasn't here. It was just her and this annoying doctor. "Why so serious, doctor?" Jaina asked, still giggling as if Iris had done something rather funny. "Let's put a smile on that face~!"
