Appearence:
The years have treat Renault with favor as he still maintains somewhat of a younger man's appearance, but gray hair has been popping up more recently. Despite retaining his more youth full appearance, his bones and muscles have started a slight ache. Reliving the family Valayarian sword 'Talon' to Radford because of his inability to wield it because of the muscle strength in his three fingers on his sword hand.

Bio/Personality: 
Renault Mortimer Lashton was born to Lord Gerald Lashton and Lady Regina Ryker, the first of two children. His brother Carlton Lashton was born a year later, their mother suffering a severe post birth condition that eradicated the chance for the Lashton boys to have another sibling. Content with his sons Gerald never push for another child, even though his heart desired it. Leaving to rampant young men who would often get into fist fights with each other, even as young men. Lord Gerald never stopped the sibling rivalry, saying that it made the boys love each other more despite the two being at constant odds with each other.

Renault was betrothed the Lucia Willia Colmont of the Vale before the two even knew the other existed. Renault was training under the tutelage of Ser Kayne the first time he’d seen her. Renault and Carlton were sparing  under Ser Kayne’s supervision when Lucia and Renault first laid eyes upon each other. Leaving him open to a blow from his brother as he was stupefied by her beauty at first glance. Soon after the wooden sword blow from Carlton the two started fighting again, Lucia only laughed slightly seeing her future husband come to blows with his brother.

Renault was 18 and Lucia just turning 16 when they were wed, piting fire against fire as both new husband and wife were full of it. A perfect match by both sets of parents. While the two did bicker a lot as any new couple would they were perfectly happy with one another. It was only a year or two later that Robert Baratheon raised his flag in rebellion. Renault farewell gift from Lucia was the news that they were expecting a child. In less than lady like words Lucia told Renault not to get killed.

Lord Gerald Lashton followed the main force of Rhaegar's forces, forcing some minor skirmishes nothing large but two beast prodding each other. It was at the Trident that the Lashton’s were thrusted into the heat of battle. As Prince Rhaegar was being surrounded, Gerald and his sons tried to push towards him only to be cut off by the Tully forces headed by the Blackfish himself, slicing through ranks taking down Lord Gerald Lashton in the heat of battle. In the heated rage of seeing their father being slain, both Lashton boy fought like a ravenous beasts. Renault taking up his family’s Valyrian sword Talon, trying to find his father’s killer. It was at then the Ser Kayne saved Renault from a random knight but as he crashed to the ground he seen the corpse of his brother with a bolt sticking from his skull.

The fighting kept for an hour before it died, ¾’s of the Lashton army was gone including two of its male members. Renault losing two fingers and had arrow’s in his side, too weak to fight on and surround the remaining lords had to surrender before the Usurper as he stood above the corpse of Rhaegar. Coming back a broken man, nearly losing everyone to this damned war. Ser Kayne and the new lord of Ash Falls Lord Renault came back bearing back the bodies of both his father and brother. Giving them a funeral by fire as their Valyarian roots demanded, though fate wasn’t done yet. Soon after his father and brother’s funeral, his mother Regina committed suicide despite the the birth of a healthy son Radford III to Renault and Lucia.

His new son Radford and wife Lucia was the only thing that kept Renault sane in the years after the war. Other addition that included another son, a daughter named Bryna and a lovely daughter Stelsa. Right before the onset of the Greyjoy Rebellion, news had reached Renault that his daughter Bryna had died in complications of childbirth. Looking forward to being a grandfather but instead the gods took away his joy yet again. It was at that moment that he abandoned the gods for reason, much to the septa’s dismay. Nothing could console him as he marched to war again.

Under the command of Lord Eddard Stark, both Marvyn and Renault fought side by side again. This time against the Ironborn insurgents. Flanked by archers as the Renault was atop the walls of Pyke, telling Marvyn to carry the Lashton banner into battle as he was carried of. Chunks of side had to be removed and cleansed with boiling wine. Two weeks later he was able to get back Ash Falls where Lucia promptly slapped the hell out of him for being so reckless, which after a few minutes the two laughed and embraced each other again.

As Renault was coming back to The Seven Lucia was struck by a mysterious illness, losing his faith entirely. Leaving a scarred and battered father to raise four children, doing what he could but it was never enough in his mind.

Suffering a year or two of a lonely bed and deprived of a companion, Renault sought out a new spouse. Not to replace his late wife but for companionship and a partner, something Stelsa couldn’t understand since she disapproved of her father remarrying. It was on Prince Joffrey's name day tourney, Radford’s first appearance in his new armor that he met Lady Madeline of House Hardin. The short time they were together at the tourney, proved that he desired her and her for him. Venturing to The Reach to ask for her hand in marriage, her father and brother weren’t so sure until he was willing to forgo a dowry and several hunting trips that brought the three men together.

Coming back to Ash Falls with a new wife caused a ruckus initially but it soon died down, especially when Renault made it clear that any insolence will not be tolerated. It was the second time that Renault raised his voice, something that he didn’t do often and for good reason. From then on he resumed his lordly duties and compiling a list of suitable spouses for his son Radford. Which just about hit a stand still as Robb Stark marched south and Eddard Stark lost his head and a plethora of other kings popping seemingly out of nowhere.


Thoughts on the current situation of the realm:
Chaotic and quite tired of the he said she said nonsense. Renault want's to just live his days in peace but with one king dead and several more popping up, his hand is forced to choose a side. Which poison does he choose in this clash of kings.[/hider]
