Trouble: Risks everything in fair circumstances. Origin: Rotting in a homestead, ran away. Growth: Tired of security, will gamble until dead. Adventure: Why not? Bio: Mystral is the daughter of prestige, the epitome of royalty. Born from the union of aristocrats that hail from wealthy countries, it was inevitable, even destined that she lived a sheltered, rigid and symbolically ‘perfect’ life.
Honor and wealth is equivalent to health -Farron Motto
--which is exactly why she left Frankreich in the first place. Mystral, despite her ‘perfect’ upbringing, was not entertained by all the formalities of royalty. She dreaded every day, knowing that there were hands to be shook and treaties to be signed to ensure a ‘good and prosperous life’ for the citizens of Frankreich. She could hardly give a damn what those peasants had to think or say. It was a droll life, a boring, tidy, and predictable life, until she decided that on her eighteenth birthday, she would leave for good. She enjoys a life of risk, the more dangerous, the better. Soon, she finds herself a life of gambling, living in excess whenever possible. “The thrill of uncertainty”, she says. Mystral hopped from city to city, leaving all ties once her infamy rises far enough to have her evicted, but never through anyone’s force. If she ever left in debt, the payment was sure to follow, never weeks behind. Mystral leaves every single place with a formal curtsy, a gracious smile, and a handwritten note-- usually left at the last table she stays on. This earned her the moniker of ‘Felicity’, for wherever she may go, her smile never falters.
Goodbye, thank you and good riddance.

One such encounter of hers included meeting with a powerful gambler/ syndicate boss, known by many names-- in this story, he is Argente. There has been no solid lead on him; his identity a secret. Nonetheless, Mystral's wit and merit as a gambler had her provide audience for Argente. She was there to knock another man off their seat of power. For the giggles. Now, she played as fairly as she could. She didn't even try to rig the cards by sleight of hand-- but in some way or another, Argente. Always. Won. So much so that she grew skeptic of Argente. It is later revealed that he was cheating all along. Mystral was being robbed right in front of her eyes! The ordeal ends with her losing half of her 'fairly' gotten wealth, and with a giant blow to her ego. She comes back months later with better tricks, outsmarting and outplaying Argente. Her first visit was fair play, now she was in to win-- no matter what it took. Mystral could let luck play its game; she reveled in the suspense of winning or losing. --but if the deck was stacked all along, then it was time to roll her sleeves down and play dirty. Suffice to say, she won by out-cheating Argente. The crime lord didn't take being played lightly, and offered one last game-- a game Mystral would have no chance to win. He proposes a 'modified' game of Russian Roulette. "Two guns, one bullet each. Both pull the trigger at the same time until someone 'loses'" Even if she said no, the guns of Argente's henchmen could convince her otherwise. The game begins.. only Mystral was given a handgun instead of a revolver. No more escape. This time money wasn't on the line. It was her life; Mystral had often teetered between life and death. This was the only moment she could feel its cold grip against her neck. It suffocated her, yet pride did not permit her to back away-- among other strong forces that had a barrel to her head. With one last look of disdain, the game begins. As Argente pulls the trigger 'click' Not that one. He urges her to follow through, a sinister grin wrapped around his twisted face. Mystral follows by aiming her gun at him. One last upstage before death's embrace. Blank. Blank. Blank. Blank. Blank. Blank. Blank. Blank. All of the bullets were blank.. Except the ones that went through her stomach and chest, peppering her frail body. The henchmen had opened fire just as planned. Now, stood the triumphant Argente, his cocky glare the last thing Mystral sees before her vision blurs by loss of blood. She lay there, gasping for her life. Her heart yearned for vengeance, nothing but the burning desire to get back at Argente.
You really didn't think I'd give you a loaded gun, did you? Bet yourself outta this one, Felicity. It's sad a smart girl like you isn't as powerful as I am; you would have done so many things as a part of our syndicate. Hey-- maybe if you live, I'll let you have your revenge. Maybe then you can be where I am. -Argente

By some thread of luck, she did survive that, not without sustaining massive injury. A passerby had heard the gunshots and opted to investigate. There lay in front of him a dying Mystral, curled and ready to accept death's kiss.. but that would have to wait. She was nursed to health and was able to get back to her feet. This time, she dared not confront Argente anymore. Her burning desire to get even was still present, but she had to play the long game with him. There was no way to destroy him straightforward, so she bides her time and works laterally. She slowly secured favor around Argente's reach, just enough to be able to turn some heads away. That was when the Cauldron contacted her, relaying their desire to 'help her out' It would seem that Argente has stepped on some rather big toes. This is where she got her ability, apt to her attitude as a gambler. Mystral comes back to confront Argente, some abilities already under her belt. Getting to him was as easy as using her portal to appear in his private quarters. Plenty methods came to her mind once it was just the two of them. But, she only wanted to use one ability: her first. Without his wall of men, Argente was just a mortal man. He had nowhere to hide and no one to pay.
Remember when you said I get to replace you? I hope you're a man of your word~ -Mystral Farron
With those, she was able to get her revenge. By the letter of his words, he would let her get revenge. Argente felt his feet stick to the ground as if paralyzed. His arms stiffened like a statue. Cry as he may for his bodyguards, Mystral had enough time to get the revolver stuffed in his coat and unload all the bullets but one. She smirked and placed the barrel right between his eyes "Remember our game?" click "I pulled the trigger" click click "eight times." click "You just did it once.." click "and even then." BANG "You cheated." click
Ability: Wager Trump Mystral has the ability to bet anything, may it be tangible or non-tangible. In essence, she could outsmart a man to bet his intellect, or outdrink a body builder for their strength. The drawback is that she must also put something of equal value-- so there will be no unfairness when it comes to the stakes; she cannot bet an egg to gain someone's chicken. In the same essence, she must bet her life to gain a life. How the game is played though, that's where the misdirection can happen, but only to those who deserve it. With this ability, she has been able to wager other abilities out of other users, and has since garnered a collection of powers such as superhuman prowess (Brute 4 level), and portal conjuration (Mover 6).
