[@Lovejoy] I do need to point out that the Lanostrans would have been growing up in a city that had just been conquered.  Only Galahad was even born beforehand.  Woudl the city really have been thriving by the time they were old enough to form memories of it?  Unless this is something unrelated...hmmm~  but it sounds like the majority of Lanostrans accepted the change in power well enough -- or are keeping quiet and biding their time.  How paranoid is the Varyan government, anyhow?
