I am very interested in this and have a few ideas for characters. It appears no one has taken, the eldest son, Lord Renault Lashton, second of his name and heir to Ash Falls. May I?

How old are the children?

With dad being 47, I would actually assume the eldest is closer to the mid-20s, right? I mean folks got married in late teens in Westeros.
Are there younger children?

My other ideas are for the Maester, the Horsemaster and a Sellsword. But I would prefer the heir, m'lord.

In thinking of characters for Renault, I considered a Samwell Tarley type, but that would not fit what you wrote about the Ashton's in general or the [i]several women[/i] coming to court for m'lord's eldest son.
