Mira has peachy tones through out her skin tone and wavy strawberry hair. Her eyes are a hazel brown and often crinkled, a good pairing with her stale smile.

Mira prefers to be pampered and enjoys her handmaidens to brush her hair, apply makeups, and different concoctions of beauty alike. She loves fashion and tries to be a trendsetter in the kingdom, admiring her own taste in food, clothing, and other trends alike. These thoughts have transferred on to the ways of her children and she prefers them to be well kept and to have a high opinion of their worth.[/indent]

The opinions of who Mira is perceived as are on total opposites of the likability spectrum. Some may see her for her vanity, her want for perfection and her blunt and often sharp tongued comments. While others may see her for her strength in communication and undying love for her family and close friends. Depending on what mood you catch Mira in- will determine your outcome.

The vain, blunt, and striving for perfection side of Mira was brought on to her by a young age. Her mother was very strict and demanded the most excellence from Mira. When she was learning her manners her mother would slap her hands over and over again if she felt like Mira wasn't behaving as she needed to be. Some of Mira's behavior came with the lavish lifestyle she received from being a child and then being a Queen. She feels she deserves a good life and appreciates the lavish and above and beyond care she receives. However, she feels this way about all of her family, friends, and somewhat for the common people. If she could give out her riches to all without losing anything, she might consider it.

Communication, loyalty, and family are of the utmost importance to Mira. She believes a woman with a good head on her shoulders is the most powerful thing this world has to offer. She teaches her daughter this constantly and wants her to know that men are not held to a higher power just because of the rules set up by things she can't control. Mira is known for her quick wit and ability to resolve most issues that come across her family in a fair and straight forward way. She is not one to play favorites when it comes to deals, though she can't help but have a bit of bias towards her own family line.[/indent]

[indent]Born into a noble family, Mira has never quite lived through too many hardships. Her father was a close friend to the previous king of Slibah and so when Mira became of age it was no question as to who would be up for the hand to the king's son: Alister. When the two were introduced at a young age, they got along and played together well enough as kids do. They didn't realize at the time how much they would mean to one another as time went on. 

Two two wed and the kingdom rejoiced. Soon after Mira fell pregnant with their first child, who they lost during some complications during the pregnancy. As misfortune seems to come in pairs, Mira's father fell ill around the same time and passed away shortly after losing her first child. Not giving up Alister and Mira fought through the gossip of the barren Queen of Slibah and produced their oldest son: Jaxton. He was a healthy, happy boy and loved by all that graced his path. Not soon after- as if to rub it in the face of those who doubted her Mira gave birth to a daughter who was just as healthy and happy: Elaisse. Mirabelle took parenting very seriously and gave the children all they could ever desire or wish. She encouraged them to be as open minded as they could be as well as strong and independent as allowed. With her husband by her side, it was clear that the two found family to their entire world.

Alister's younger sister Juliana was soon to be married to another kingdom. Mira felt a bit uncomfortable about the arrangement but as long as Juliana was happy and knowing of what she was going into- she gave the woman the benefit of the doubt. Mira had always been fond of Juliana but knew that this arrangement could change their entire relationship in it's entirely. 

While the wedding is underway, Mira is preparing her own children for their next steps in life. [/indent]

He has a shock of hair, deep brown in color. It is often a tangled mess, giving him a slightly windblown appearance. Alister's beard comes in a vibrant shade of ginger, adding a splash of color between his pale skin and dark hair. His eyes are a light hazel.

Alister bears the scars of a man who has led his own men into battle. It has been years since he has seen the front, what with the treaty, but he still bears the marks of his first few campaigns alongside his father. His choice of outfits consists mostly of rich, earthy tones mixed with reds and greens. Given his rough beginnings, Aedan has also held a great deal of respect and even love for the common folk beneath him. He takes no pleasure in being considered above others, and does his best to protect the common folk, while making as little a show of his wealth and stature as he is able to.

While he is honourable and loyal, earning Aedan's trust is not an easy thing to do. An incredibly reserved and solemn person, Aedan does not make friends easily, and he is rarely even seen with a smile on his face. Considering he is the only one of his family, and many of Aedan's closest friends have died in battle, there is little people know of his history, or even of him aside from rumours, and he endeavours to keep it that way, generally not wishing to risk any sort of affection for others.[/indent]

[indent]Aedan Merryn was born a commoner, his father a blacksmith and mother a cook in the north of Sliabh. His childhood was as most common boys' was, without much in the way of education, and with its fair degree of troubles. Luckily, work was never hard to come by for his parents, with his father regularly receiving work with the war, and his mother having all sorts of travelers going between the kingdoms to cook for. Aedan's life was changed, however when an Abhainn army took over his home. His father killed in the fighting, Aedan became separated from his mother shortly after, never learning her fate, as he was eventually picked up by a group of Sliabhan soldiers retreating south. Though he was young at the time, Aedan ended up joining with the soldiers, being trained to eventually join the Sliabhan army.

As he aged, Aedan's ability and rank in the army grew, and he was eventually knighted for his valour and ability in fighting. Becoming a general of the Sliabhan forces, Aedan spearheaded a major counter-offensive in the North, retaking large areas of territory which had been lost in the war with Abhainn. It was during this counter-offensive that Aedan earned the title of 'The Lion of Slibah', given out of respect for him by some of his enemies, before the name began to spread among his own men as well. Retaking his homeland, Aedan was ordered to hold it by King George III, and given a lordship along with the land while the treaty with Abhainn was being discussed. Though he had never particularly wished to rule, Aedan accepted out of a deep loyalty for the king, and began to rule and lead his armies in the North, defending against the occasional skirmish while the treaty was negotiated.

During his lordship, Aedan made a few visits to the capital to speak with the king, becoming a close ally and even confidant for George III. As a skilled general and warrior, Aedan has held a similar relationship with the new king, Alister, and holds a respect for the man - believing him to hold true to George's doctrines. Aedan has had little argument or debate with the new king except on the topic of Julianna's betrothal. While both men share an aversion to the war, Aedan maintains his belief that it would only be a temporary peace. Aedan remains a loyal servant of Sliabh, and for now, a personal guard to the Lady Julianna.[/indent]
