Both ideas sound quite interesting! I also tend a bit more to the first, since we have a lack of "Evilish" clans, and i like the nomad idea!

As for the Insects, the List is far from done i am afraid, but if you feel like it, you could make a tab for them like [@ClocktowerEchos] did! Then i will look over it, and put it into the Lore!

The Writing is Advanced, with longer Posts and more detail. As for Posting speed...well, i am a bit reluctant to post a real locked speed. If Clock or I realize that someone has dropped out, we will kill of the Clan with a Warning, but lets see first how this RP develops! 

As for your idea, Mercenaries are ALWAYS a fitting idea for a Culture of Rats! Even more so if including lots of Backstabbing! And while the Ratpublic will not go out of its way to make enemies, its richness will attract enemies! But i leave that up for you and Clock to discuss..
