Name: Arid Honram

Title/Position/Alias: Sellsword of Lord Kardak

Age: 37

Bio/Personality: Arid is a bright, optimistic, and usually drunk individual.  He is a sellsword at heart, and will always follow where money is.  When he acquires said money, he will very likely be found at the nearest bar.  He stays honest, usually too honest, with his fellow man.

Arid is loved and hated by many, mostly loved by the people in the bar and hated by the "higher ups" that look down on such "recklessness".  While the sellsword would love to just kill the nobility, they are the ones with the money.  

His carousing has led to many unfortunate occurrences, and of the last few had led him in debt to Markus Kardak for sticking one of his knights with a spear over a disagreement.  While Arid would usually be executed for such things, Lord Kardak took advantage of the situation by enlisting him for a year.  Many did not support the young Lord Kardak's decision, yet the minor lord had taken a liking to Arid and ignored the opinions of his peers.  Arid himself found the charge to be alright, and has mostly at this point entertained the lord.

Thoughts on the current situation of the realm: Arid isn't too used to paying attention to news, but ever since recent events he's grown concerned with the thoughts of being sent off to battle.  As much fun battle is, dying isn't.
