What you don't realise is the class is being run by Ken Adams (I will do a sheet for him at some point). It was never advertised or it may have been a little more popular but Ken designed it that way. He'd been a trainer just like this and come to a class just like this and seen kids get rolled over by more boisterous children causing trouble and asking stupid questions. He wanted a small group of those that wanted to learn.

He strolls over and settles himself on the grass right in the middle of the group of children sprawling out in front of them and smiles massaging his rotund chest.

[color=00aeef]"Pokemon not prizes- people, chase badges and awards and wins. They don't mean anything compared to the bonds you form with your Pokemon. Have a strong team and a strong bond between them and your life will be better for it![/color]

Kids ask lots of questions some silly, some intelligent, one child even asks about map reading much to your comfort. Maybe you ask questions and maybe you don't, maybe Robin asks tonnes maybe you don't but the one that sticks with you is the one from a small boy about your age who raises a pudgy hand into the air from amongst his many relatives (it looks like at least 4 generations of his family are with him today).

Ken sits back and smiles

[color=00aeef]"Well you have to go to Saffron to get your Pokegear but I wouldn't go their straight away."[/color]

He opens his jacket to reveal 7 gleaming badges and you notice that the Marsh Badge is missing and he gives you a little guilty smile

[color=00aeef]"Not many people know but I got into the Pokemon league through the Pokemon exam. These I got for fun but I never got the Marsh Badge. Sabrina is a master of the Psychic Pokemon and I never could find the right Pokemon to beat that damned Kadabra of hers. Then I got old and badges just didn't seem that important anymore."[/color]

He looks a little forlornly at his jacket before letting it fall shut.

"I've heard rumours of a cave just a little way north into the mountains. In there is a pack of Pokemon that might just give you the strength that you can leave Saffron with more than just a Pokegear! That's all I'm saying."[/color]
