[i]Don’t you already know? I mean.. You called me here and all. I guess if I need to say it for you; I’m Benji and I’m named after my grand-pappy because he was my dad's hero. He fought in a war and probably did a bunch of cool stuff. That's what my dad tells me anyway, because I've never met him.[/i]

[h3]How old are you?[/h3]

[i]I’m twelve and I’ll be twelve and a half next month. They do this happy half birthday thing in class if your birthday falls on a day in the summer, which is kind of nice, but I don’t really like the attention. I like that my birthday is in june because it’s warm and I can go swimming and Brandy - my sister, she has a birthday in december and it's always too cold to do anything fun, but mom says that we can go to hawaii next year because it's going to be warm there- even though it’s winter.

[h3]What do you look like?[/h3]

[i]Your a pretty funny guy, my dad would like you.... Oh you're serious. Okay um, I have kind of blond hair and green eyes- in gym we play this game where the chosen person calls out features and you try to run to the other side without getting tagged. Sometimes I say my eyes are hazel cause than I can run extra if they call it!

[h3]Do you have any hobbies?[/h3]

[i]Oh yeah! I love playing football and soccer after school and during the summer I play basket ball. Football is definitely the best though cause I get to play with my friends. Coach is nice too and says that if I practice really hard I can play varsity in high school and I’ll be the most awesome big kid! My dad always tells me that he was the quarterback in high school and that's how he met mom cause she was his cheerleader. 

I don’t know if this is a hobby, but my favorite class is gym cause I don’t have to think so hard and we get to play fun games! My favorite game is flag football and I wish we could play real football but the coach told me we can’t because not everyone is good at taking tackles like in real football and we don't want anyone getting hurt. I’ve gotten hurt in football but my dad says it builds “character” whatever that means. 

I also like to dance! My mom got me tap dancing shoes last year and they make the coolest noises. My dad doesn’t like them much so I can only use them when he’s not home. Mom thinks he’s being “dramatic” but I think tapdancing is fresh. I wish there was a dance class. I know Mandy goes to a ballet class and gets to do these awesome concerts. I think she’s really cool even though she’s older than me. I don’t ever get to talk to her because I’m too young, maybe when I’m older!

[h3]What are some things that you especially dislike?[/h3]

[i]I hate it when Brandy doesn’t listen to me. It's like I tell her not to mess with my stuff and she has to go into my room and touch everything! And than it's like mom and dad don't even care cause it's “their house their rules” and it's totally not fair! I don’t go into her room and mess up all her stupid Care Bears! 

My mom is a “vegetarian” and only eats fruits and veggies and always makes me eat mushrooms but their like soggy and slimy! I hate it. My dad says that it will make me a better football player so I eat them anyway, but trust me they are grody.

[h3]What are your goals for the future? Both immediate and long-term.[/h3]

[i]Wow, you really ask the tough ones, huh? I want to win all our games this year for football and soccer! If we win the championships we get our picture in the trophy case! My dad’s picture is in there and so is my mom's. If I don’t get in there I think they’ll be really disappointed in me. I got till the end of school to get a photo taken though! Also I think that when I’m older I’ll be even more handsome and look rad in a photograph with my team. 

When I grow up I’m going to be a professional Coach so that I can teach other kids how to play football! When I was little, like Brandy, I wanted to be in a hair band! I think they’re rad! Especially Aerosmith and Metallica! My parents don't really like them though and told me I couldn’t sing very well. It’s okay though cause I’m going to be a coach!

[h3]What's your home life like? Specifically, what is your relationship like with your parents?[/h3]

[i]My dad is awesome! He’s like a superhero! He works a lot so I only get to play ball with him on weekends, and my mom is always home. She’s the best mom in the world but she always wants to know what I’m doing, even when I tell her she can’t know. Especially when my friends are over and we are playing in the tree house and it says “no girls allowed”. Though that's more for my sister cause otherwise she’d bore everyone with her stupid dolls and dress up! My mom yells at me a lot if I’m mean to Brandy even though Brandy is being mean too. She never gets mad at Brandy and Dad said it's because women get along better with each other. He said I shouldn’t be mean to her though too- but sometimes she deserves it! Anyway, my parents are probably the best cause I know Tommy’s parents are getting a ‘divorce’ and that's when they leave each other forever. It’s bogus and it probably really sucks so I’m glad my parents want to live together.

[h3]What's your favorite animal, and why?[/h3]

[i]Tigers! They are the coolest animals ever! They are huge and strong! I saw one at a zoo last year and it was bigger than me! Dad said it can eat big animals like deer and not even care that they are so fast and big! When a tiger rawrs it like vibrates the glass and I know he means business! I think they demand respect and everyone should respect them because they are hunters of the wild and we don’t live in the wild to survive like they do. We can just buy food. A tiger has to survive and be strong! Here look! I got this tattoo out of the quarter machine at the grocery store and mom helped me put it on. It’s pretty rad! I’m a tiger just like this!

[h3]How about your favorite color?[/h3]

[i]I like red. It’s a powerful color! I read in a magazine that red is what leaders like, and I think I’d make an awesome leader, because I like to talk to people and do group projects. I had this velvet red sweater when I was little and I’d wear it everywhere I went! It got ripped by a dog and mom made me get rid of it, but now I have this awesome red and white jacket! Dad said it’s a good thing I like red because my football jersey is red and I won't get sick of it.

[h3]What are your grades like?[/h3]

[i]Um... not so good. Mom said it's because I can't stay still and Dad said if I don't get them raised I’m grounded from football- but I don’t think he will actually make me stop playing. I don’t really like to do homework and I don’t really understand math. I like science though! I think I’m doing okay in english and reading except I don’t really like to read. The teacher makes the class do these point tests to see if we read the book and we have to fill in how many points we get at the end of the month and the winner gets a prize, but I haven’t won any of them cause I don't want to read unless I have to. I’d rather be outside.

[i]Magic is dumb. I know that mom and dad are the ones who put gifts under the christmas tree! Mom says I can’t tell Brandy because it’ll “ruin the magic” but isn’t it just lieing?
