"Yeah, by the time we get back home we will be gone."

He says smiling.

"This time we can keep the fish and do a fish fry.  I can show you how to fillet, if you can handle seeing the guts and stuff."

Holding onto her he rubs her arm.  A moment later the ferry finishes getting loaded and takes off.  They head out, returning to the mainland.

"Ready for the fort or are you too tired?"

He asks as they arrive at the dock.
