[b]Background [/b]: Mother died at birth and she was raised by a single father who worked on the shipyard at the Docks. Lived between the Slums and the Lower District most of her life, however has done some traveling beyond No Name but has always come back. Opened the Serpent's Lair around [b]the Docks[/b] decades ago to never forget whence she came, and has been tending to it ever since. Two years ago she hired a [b]young woman named Andria[/b] to help her around the inn in exchange for use of her garage to do mechanic work. Since Andria's been hired Mabel runs the night/graveyard shift at the Inn ([b]6-6am[/b]) as this when most of the undesirable characters come around. A very tough woman who doesn't take[i] any[/i] shit. Keeps a [b]loaded shotgun[/b] behind the counter of the bar on the main floor of the inn and a [i]revolver on her hip[/i]. A mother to and respected by many in the community, as she's always looking out for those in need. Not terribly fond of outsiders but doesn't mind taking their money. Good friends with [b]Sloth the Dealer[/b].
