Here was what had to be one of Beacon's best students smiling at her of all people and assuring her she had done well despite her mistakes. Against that smile she felt a little warmth come to her cheeks and she couldn't bring herself to dispute what he said. In fact she couldn't think of much to say at all. She looked dumbly between Luke and Ben, imagining the two of them regularly taking on enormous Grimm. She hadn't gotten that sense from him the day before, in the Cafe, but standing just a few feet from him now she felt unsettled.
