He has dirty blonde hair with steel grey eyes. Cedric wears the clothing of nobility, immaculately attired. Cedric does not shave on a regular basis yet. He is curious to grow a beard, but it does grow thick enough yet. He is still too young. He may have wisps of hair growing from his face from time to time. For Armor, Cedric wears a large mail coat with the Smallwood tabard overlain and a steel helm. He has never participated in a tournament, but trains regularly with the other lordlings. House Smallwood sigil is six brown acorns on yellow. Cedric regularly wears the yellow and brown colors and the acorn embroidered on is clothing. Personality: Cedric is a quiet young man, resolute in his convictions and possessing exceptional intelligence. A pious man, he is thoroughly taken in by the Seven Gods praying to the appropriate God frequently. He considers them in every decision he makes which make appear indecisive or at least slow to act. This is a trait he struggles with simply because others, especially his father expect more from him. Cedric is aggressive, bold and daring when thrust into action; it just takes him a bit of time to do anything. In the current struggle, House Smallwood is aligned with Robb Stark and would urge Lord Rennault Lashton to bend the knee to the King in the North, but he believes it would be inappropriate to counsel the Old Hawk this way. He views the man as his uncle, but quietly does not trust him. Bio: Cedric is the third born son to Lord Theomar Smallwood or Acorn Hill in the Riverlands. During Robert’s Rebellion, the Smallwoods fought in favor of the Targaryen King which makes the Smallwoods friends with the Lashtons. When the fighting concluded, Lord Theomar bent the knee to the drunken king, but never liked the man. At the age of nine, Cedric was sent to live with House Lashton at Ash Falls. He quickly made friends with the Lashton children enjoying the benefits from high born. Cedric has always found himself drawn to the Seven Gods. When the other boys wanted to ride their garrons in the open country, Cedric wanted to spend time in the Sept. He is not interested in Women, but neither is he interested in men. For much of his young life, he consoled himself to taking the Black, but the last few years have changed his views. He is considering offering up himself to the Noble and Puissant Order of the Warrior's Sons. They are an order of Westerosi knights sworn to the Faith of the Seven. They are part of the Faith Militant, and are also known as the Swords. The Warrior's Sons obey and answer to the High Septon, as they believe the High Septon speaks for the Seven. This is an avenue Cedric has prayed on frequently over the past two to three years. He is coming closer to making this life altering decision. His hand may be chosen for him, if his father offers him up to the Night’s Watch. Cedric believes his father is currently distracted with outside events and plans to make the pilgrimage to the Great Sept of Baelor in order to take his oaths and be sworn in as one of the Warrior’s Sons. Thoughts on the current situation of the realm: Cedric supports Robb Stark, the King in the North because his father supports House Stark. He is too reserved to say anything to Lord Rennault about his opinion. It is not his place to counsel a head of house. He believes Stannis Baratheon’s claim that Joffrey is an incestuous product of the Lannister twins. He believes it is better to fight the Lannisters inside King’s Landing than outside the Capital City.
