Mei
[@AngelofOctober][@LemonZest1337][@Old Amsterdam] Yes! Mei mentally pumped up her fist, upon being the success of the attack. The target staggered, obviously affected and in pain, and thus that made the two young men to earn a reprieve from the madman's attacks. What followed, however, was not something she had expected at all, as she watched the gory spectacle of the Chimera clawing its own face in an impressive feat of self mutilation, going so far as to tear his own eyes out. She stood still, stiff in her position, as the shards flew past her, causing her cuts in her dress and minor wounds, one of them on her cheek. The situation had turned sour, fast. She gritted her teeth as she watched the spectacle, not without a considerable pang of guilt. I overdid it. I really overdid it. Good job, Mei, reaaallly smooth. She chastised herself as she watched the young koukaku receive also a dose of friendly fire pepper spray. Her eyes drifted to the Rinraku, who was now the target of the blinded chimera's thrashing. He was deploying a brutal counter. The Ukaku doctor pondered her options. She couldn't really let it happen this way. That chimera ghoul was aggressive and unhinged, but he was mentally ill, and no doubt in pain and confusion rather than outright malice. But what could she do? She pondered her options as she clenched her fist. Sedation? not possible. Sleeper hold? Very difficult. Death of the patient? Likely. Death of the bystanders also likely. Best course of action: Incapacitation by fracture in cervical vertebrae. Recoverable for a ghoul, but risk of death. Risk of being wide open? Substantial, but assumed. She had decided. She readied herself and sprout forth the maximum wingspan of her kagune, looking down on the running chimera, who was all too busy trying to get himself impaled in the Rinraku's kagune. <<"The water flows from the mountain.">> She whispered to herself in Mandarin. <<"...and tears the rock asunder">> She took a deep breath. She dart at her full speed from her vantage point, jumping high in the air not differently like the chimera had done before, iridiscent birdlike wings of a kagune swiftly repositioning as she spun in midair, one of her well-shaped legs describing a distinctive arc. And then swooping down on the Chimera's neck with her heel, aided by the strength of the jump and freefall, just like a mighty raptor bird. If she landed that hit in the way she intended, the fight would be over, and she could turn to heal those in need. And probably spare deaths, judging how vicious the display was becoming.
