Brushing her hair it felt like a good day to have a day off. The sun was shining and she really had a good feeling about this day. It was going to be a good day. Certainly the news was disturbing and the lives of others horribly disrupted, but you had to look forward to something good. When the sun was so happy and shining it must mean someone was having a really good day. Or something really good was going to happen. Looking through her closet she picked her dress for the day and stared at herself in the mirror. Putting on a shiny shimmery lip gloss that made her lips sparkle, she lifted her eyes up with her massacra brush and smiled. Twirling she looked at herself and grab the ends of the stand mirror.

“Today is going to be a great day Mi,” she told herself. Nodding her head she grabbed her purse, slipped on a pair of matching blue flats and walked out of her apartment. Some would have complained her apartment was too luxurious, but the reality it was something inherited to her. She wished people could see the good in the world despite it being bogged down at times by the worse things. She believed when the world was smiling you smiled with the world and when the world was crying, then you help others because the world was crying with someone. Leaving the apartment complex she started on her daily walk. She liked the fresh air despite it being in the city and liked the travel in the subways despite it being busy. People recognized her, but she didn’t fret about it. She smiled and signed their photos or took pictures with them because it wasn’t fair of her to turn them away. She didn’t understand people who turned other people away when they admired their work or respected them. They wanted to be a part of her community and she was a part of her community. She wasn’t outside of it. Strolling out of the subway she thought about heading to the park, but something was nudging her to go to the coffeeshop first. Skipping sometimes and lightly walking airily on her feet, she finally turned the corner to the coffee shop that reminded her of cafes she had seen on the corners of European streets. Fixing her dress she looked through the window and her heart skipped a bit. Red hair and a smoky look to his eye. There was Katashi. “Be cool Mika,” she whispered to herself. As she walked into the coffee shop with a smile on her face. Turning around she stared at Katashi. Her heart going a bunch of steps. Dancing to the rhythm of her anticipation. She had met Katashi only a handful of times, the first was to fix up his mask, the second was to greet him. But meeting him felt like destiny. He could be her Prince Charming. She imagined him in shining armor on a horse, and it made her face go hot. She fixed her hair and looked at him. “Katashi-kun,” she said nervously, “Hello.” But it was too late her daydreaming fantasies were taking over. Mika-Cam: “I was actually waiting for you Mika-san,” Katashi told her, he smiles at her and she feels her hearting racing at this point. “You were?” she ask him. “Yes, something told me to come to the coffeshop on this wonderful day. And it so happens that I bump into you.” When Katashi turns to her, his eyes gleams. There is a dazzling ray of lights, roses bloom near him. “Oh K-tan you shouldn’t say things like that,” Mika tells him. “But it is the truth, please sit down, I’ll order you a coffee,” Katashi tells her. -end- She sits down from across him and smiles brightly. “How are you?” she ask, “It’s a nice day.” [@Alias]
