I didn't have a specific age in mind, so feel free to make it whatever you decide, but if it was younger/barely adults. I'd put young men.

Well, it implies that it was throwing rocks that were close to hitting a horse. So animal abuse, or really hitting people with rocks in general, isn't the best idea or exactly "acceptable behavior". I'm sure even less so in medieval times where people cut off kids hands for stealing food. :P

I'm assuming you're asking this because you want to know how your own character would react?
