The first kickoff of the day had been at eleven in the morning and last game didn’t end until a quarter til ten. And as it was with most Sundays that meant that the bar was packed from just after doors opened and until they were locked at eleven. Tommy had been planning on spending the afternoon running some errands and stopping by Luna Sports but unfortunately his plans had shifted suddenly when Laura, one of the waitresses, had been forced to call out after her babysitter canceled on her. This instead meant that Tommy was filling in on the wait staff for the afternoon and evening, not that he minded too much as the unpredictability of the bar was one of his favorite aspects of it. After the place was locked up and the staff had departed for the night Tommy gave the bar a once over and made sure the place was ready for the next day. Location: Old Harbour, Late Sunday Night After a busy day Tommy found himself relaxing in the living room of his Westwood drinking his preferred drink, a simple run and coke. Tommy often spent his late nights in a similar manner to this. Tonight Tommy was pairing his drink with some low volume music, mostly Ghost. It was a simple way to spend his night but it was a good way to relax. It was so relaxing in fact that Tommy found himself falling asleep right there in his recliner. Location: still Old Harbour, Monday Morning It had been relaxing when he had been sitting in the chair, listening to music and drinking but now that he was waking up having slept there for the last seven or so hours it was the exact opposite. Standing up from the chair Tommy could feel his back popping as the kinks attempted to work themselves, more importantly though he could feel his left knee attempting to give out on him. Looking around he couldn’t find his cane, falling back into his chair it was only a few seconds until he realized that he had somehow forgotten it in his car the night before. Navigating his way through the boat using the walls and furniture to keep himself from falling he made his to the bedroom where after some struggling and rooting around in the closet before he eventually found his other cane. Limping around the boat Tommy set about his morning routine, but at about three quarter the normal speed. Once he was finally dressed and ready for the day it was time to make the hobble out to the parking lot. Location: Sol City, Monday Evening After spending the afternoon at Footsteps, making sure everybody came in and that they were ready for the evening rush Tommy had excused himself for the rest of the evening, leaving instructions with Ellie to lock up at the end of the night. He hadn’t really decided what he was going to do with this rare autumn night off when he had left the bar but he had decided he didn’t want to spend the day stuck in his office or working on his bad leg. After he had pulled out of the parking lot at Footsteps he swung by The Coffee Pot, his second time there that day, to top off on his thermos. While waiting at the counter to get his coffee he noticed a flier on the counter that he had missed that morning. It advertised the Monday Night Blues and Jazz at Swan Songs, it was a reoccurring event in Sol City but Tommy had never actually stopped by for the show. With his evening free and not having any other plans Tommy left from The Coffee Pot and got on the freeway heading towards Riverside. As he pulled onto the freeway, looking at the display on his car’s dash he knew he was going to miss the opening of the show but on the upside he was already dressed to meet the requirements.
