The other girl was rightly spooked, and the poor dear looked exactly like a frightened kitten. She didn't reply to the question on whether she could stay there or not, but simply gave the girl a small grin and gave her a pat on the head.

Livia would sooner use her for some sort of experiment and question why she was 'getting friendly' with some of the other students instead of focusing on her studies. That might put a wrench in her own plans.

Oh well, that was neither here nor there. She'd deal with that if it ever became an issue.
