Laphicet kept a somewhat loose grip on Sunny's hand as he followed/was dragged around by said girl. Despite the smiles and grins Sunny gave him, they only barely kept him going, as he felt far too sluggish to really pay attention to where he was going. Who knew that going on an adventure would already be so taxing? The child had given the other a dull look as she sucked in a breath once again, but before she could shout into the ambient fog once again, another voice called out, alerting Laphicet that they weren't alone. "S-Sunny and Laphi..." He echoed before tilting his head in attempts to see through the fog, only to let out a squeak at the sight of an intimidating shadow moving among the fog. As Sunny began bolting for the large shadow and possibly larger figure, Laphicet reluctantly followed, pulling on her arm softy in attempts to slow her down. As they got closer, the sun's rays granted the sight of a rusted over knight bent over with their sword pressed into the dirt. He wanted to ask if there was someone in there, but was too scared of the possibility that the knight might jump up and attack them or something. Hearing Sunny's conclusion that this might be the guardian of the forest intimidated the boy even further. Guardian of the forest huh? That had to mean that they were super important right? Laphicet took no chances and hid behind Sunny, his eyes never leaving the rusted over knight. Not to mention, solving a riddle was apart of his job, but taking a test? "I've...never taken a test before." He mumbled while stifling a yawn before staring back at the knight. He then watched in awe as the dark haired girl began speaking in almost a different language. And when the knight responded, Laphicet gave a scared glance towards them, as if their were a monster right in front of him. He remained quiet, as if to keep attention away from him.
