He stares at her, unaffected by the blood loss. "Why do you do this to yourself? You know it doesn't do anything," he says to her directly. He squats down and lifts her to her feet, wiping away the blood with his hand. "You could be so much more, yet you keep telling yourself you can't or they won't let you. It isn't up to them how you are, It's up to you," he says as he wipes off the blood.
