Zanier De Fluir Height: 6'4" / 1.9 meters Weight: 190 Age: 57 (about 28 in human years) Race/Species: Sand Elf Appearance: A tall and slim elf with slightly tanned skin. Has scarring across his back from lashes. Wears his hair over his eyes and down his back. Personality: Zanier is constantly on the run, he his highly sought after by many mercenary groups for his ability to create and imbue magical items with ease. The items he creates are very valuable most of the time. He is known across the lands as a very powerful summoner and enchanter *enchantress?* He is very quiet and slow to trust others because once they figure out his abilities Zanier will most likely be asked to enchant weaponry for them. Being a fugitive who is constantly on the run for creating magical weaponry and tools alike, Zanier has a very introverted personality at first. Once he learns to trust a person he becomes more open and honest. He is quiet and clever, but very stubborn and follows his plans through to the end. Statistics: (Every character gets 35 points to start with, so that everyone is balanced. You can put anywhere from 1-10 points in a category. Your stats will have an effect on the story in various different ways. For example, if you try to cut a dragon's head off with a sword and you have only 1 Strength, it's probably not going to work. Similarly, if you have 10 Agility, you're basically the wind itself and will have no problem dodging arrows, fireballs, and whatever else comes your way.) -Strength: 1 (No hand to hand or melee ability whatsoever. Basically can't rely on anything but his magic -Perception: 4 ( Average smell, sight, hearing and touch, but has unique ability to sense a metal's properties only from touch. This is an uncommon trait among Sand Elves) -Endurance: 4 (Relies heavily on staying hidden and evading combat, because he cannot take more than one decent blow before being completely useless due to the pain/damage) -Charisma: 3 (While very clever, he never speaks up in decision making time, and lacks communicative skills with others. Often found to be too quiet) -Intelligence: 10 (While obtaining the highest level for intelligence, there are only a few magic arts he is a master of listed below) -Agility: 8 (High agility to assist in his evasion from combat) -Luck: 5 (ups and downs regarding luck) Abilities, Talents, Traits, Powers: +Master Craftsmen/Blacksmith - Highly renowned blacksmith and craftsman. Mostly known for creating weaponry, armor, and magical jewelry. +Master Summoner - Used to create elemental golems that he can use materials from. This is an ability passed down from his father who was a master summoner before him. There is a cool down related to how long he uses his elementals. 10 minutes of summoning = 1 hour of cool down before being able to summon any other golem +Skilled in evasion arts - this aids him in escaping and evading battles, has kept him alive thus far. - Very weak physically, heavily relies on his magic for movement/physical abilities. -His poor ability to communicate often renders him useless in group decisions and he is very outspoken as a result. -Lacks in all magical arts besides the three listed below, because he has not spent any of his time trying to learn or master them Items: Possesses Mana-store Amulet- This magical amulet, which was hand-crafted by his mother, stores a small amount of Zanier's magical energy. If the amulet senses Zanier has received an existential amount of damage, it will temporarily heal Zanier's wounds. (Lasts about 5 minutes and acts as an extreme adrenaline boost) The amulet's magic traps all of Zanier's magic if it senses he has been extremely wounded. The amulet takes at least 3 months to store enough of Zanier's magic. Possesses The Sand Cloak - This Cloak is a magical artifact of the Sand Elves. If activated the user will completely blend in with their surroundings. The user will be locked into place for at least 30 seconds (unable to move at all) once the thirty seconds is up the user may move but once they do the cloaking effect is removed. (Basically the cloak cannot work if the user moves and for the first 30 seconds of use the user cannot move anyways.) Possesses various magical spell books and smithing guides that aid in his crafting. Doesn't carry weapons of any sort because he never fights, he always runs. History: Being Born in a Sand Elf group of nomads, Zanier has known many sands to be his home, but as he ages he seeks more adventure and has been out of the sand for about five years now. He wanders the magical realm in search of true adventure. He has known many Elves, but very few of the other species. Spending his life on the move he has many stories, but rarely shares them. While being a wanderer his entire life, he seeks a different path. He spent his childhood learning his parents trades, his mother was their tribes craftsmen, while his father was the tribes summoner. During a gruesome tribal feud, his parents were slaughtered in front of his eyes. He was in his 30's during this time. ( about 15 in human time) Using the sand cloak he was able to stay hidden but was forced to witness his parents, and peoples slaughter. He's been on the move ever since the slaughter. Creating weapons and items to be sold to those that will pay. Many mercenaries have seen his weapons in use and seek out the mysterious nomadic enchanter. (OOC) I'm hoping to play this char more as a support role, for he players' gear and what not. If the intelligence is too high or anything else seems too op please let me know!
