Hmmmm, I'm curious, just so we're all on the same page. I sort of envisioned the jazz night as an [i]outside[/i] event, maybe on a small stage that could be constructed pretty easily or something that is just left up all the time for the purpose. Since the record store is small and it's a city-wide event maybe it takes place [i]behind[/i] said store with part of the venue seating being under an awning or something like that. 

I know this is in the same vein as [@Furiosa]'s question.
