[b]Appearance[/b] - Standing at about 6'1" Keenan has an athletic build and light skin. He has short black hair and his eyes burn a deep red.

[b]Apparel[/b] - Keenan is almost always clad in a large grey coat and red facemask. He bears some armor on his left arm as it's the one he most often uses with a force barrier to block blows in a duel, beyond that the only other armor he wears is a pair of boots.

[b]Lightsaber(s)[/b] - Qinata: Single Red-bladed saber that can attach to a collapsible Cortosis-wrapped quarterstaff to form a polearm. Purple double-bladed lightsaber, he never uses it.

Tràkata - A combat method used alongside his normal dueling. He usually enters combat with his blade unignited, using the force to dodge and defend while he looks for an opening to ignite the blade and impale his opponent with it.
Echani Martial Arts - Echani arts training has made him a deadly opponent even while unarmed and without using the Force

[b]Flaws[/b] -
Force wound - Because of the strong bond he shared with Natalie her death harmed his connection to the Force, he may be strong with the abilities he has but it is extremely difficult for him to develop new ones.
Acta non Verba - He is not good with diplomacy, if he cannot avoid it with stealth he will face it in combat.

[b]Personality[/b] - Keenan is largely uncaring and indifferent towards most people. He's reluctant to open himself up to real friendships again, the shock of losing someone so close having a profound effect on him, that said he can be still be quite friendly and kind but rarely can it be said that he's cheerful. Surprisingly, a good opponent brings out the best in him, it's one of the few times he seems to be happier and he'll even give encouragement to his opponent. This is usually only when he's against a jedi, however.

[b]Backstory[/b] - Keenan's homeworld is a mystery, even to him. He was a sith apprentice from the moment he could walk, at least until a Jedi knight had come and defeated his Dark Jedi master. When the knight found him afterwards, a boy of no more than six shakily holding up a red lightsaber, he took him back to the jedi temple hoping that he could be set on a new path.

Because of his prior training he was able to excel at most of his classes with the order, but it also had the effect of making him somewhat of an outcast as most of the other students and even some masters were reluctant to have direct dealings with him. He only made one friend during his training, a girl named Natalie Weyrloc, the two formed a close friendship and even develop a strong force bond, strong enough for a force chain. It was because of this and some masters' worry that his isolation may lead him back toward that dark side that an exception was made to allow them both to become apprentices under the same master.

They continued to act as partners even after becoming knights on their own, complimenting each others strengths with Keenan's focus on combat and Natalie's skill with the force and diplomacy. The Jedi-Sith war meant that he was the subject of a lot more distrust and scrutiny from some of his peers but that had only brought him closer to his friend, too close in fact, and he'd begun to develop feelings for her. He had confessed them to her before long, their bond meaning he wouldn't have been able to hide them anyway, and the two had a clandestine relationship for years. Eventually, however, having no care for the sith or the order and his only connection being to her he wanted to leave and he tried to convince her to leave with him. Trauma has repressed the memory of what happened then, all he can remember is seeing her body and then being detained by one of the Temple Guards.

The immediate response by the Council was his exile, but later a Jedi Sentinel by the name of Valdis Freyr was sent to hunt him down. The hunt went on for the rest of the war and continued on after. During that time Keenan knew he was being hunted and dedicated as much time as he could to mastering and honing the skills he had both in preparation for the inevitable duel and just to make himself stronger. When Valdis finally caught up with him their duel was fierce and carried on for hours before Keenan eventually struck him down. Keenan collapsed to his knees and fell to tears immediately after his exile and his hunt had been distractions but now with it over grief had hit him over the loss of his loved one.

The Okussus cult had begun to emerge over the following year. Keenan, exiled from the order and now dreadfully alone in the galaxy, sought them out because he felt he had nowhere else to go.
