He's most often clad in robes of varying colors, wearing ones of more 'regal' shades when he needs to make a good first impression. He keeps his dark brown fur constantly clean and combed, always doing his best to keep up appearances. Reason for Imprisonment: Kaqui was arrested for selling black market and stolen Imperial weaponry. He actually constantly committed these crimes, but claims innocence regardless. Equipment: When he was arrested the Imperials confiscated his Model Q2 hold-out blaster pistol. Other than that he had his credit chip, a personal datapad, a small set of tools fit for a Chadra-Fan's hand and the clothes on his back, a set of grey robes. Skills:

As a Chadra-Fan he possesses acute senses, stronger than those of a human. These include a heightened sense of smell and infared sight. His species also requires less sleep due to their extremely rapid metabolism, he only needs around two hours of sleep a day to function.
Kaqui like many other Chadra-Fan has a knack with machinery, he's constantly tinkering around with spare parts as a hobby. He's in the past been able to create makeshift tools and even explosives, though never actually used the latter.
He's quite quick on his feet and due to his short stature is able to slip into smaller places.
As someone that commonly deals weaponry, he knows his way around a blaster. While he isn't a top marksman, he's not a bad shot.
Weaknesses:

He's not physically strong, mostly due to his stature he can't really throw his weight around in a fight. Hand to hand in general is not his strong suit.
Due to his homeworld's aquatic climate, Kaqui has an intense fear of drowning.
Kaqui is incredibly cheap. It comes with the territory of being a merchant. He'll try to always spend as few credits as possible and almost never just gives away money. Some would consider him greedy.
While he can be willed to fight, Kaqui does have some coward tendencies. He'd rather take his chances and flee than receive a certain death.
History: Kaqui was born on the Chadra-Fan homeworld of Chad. A beautiful blue world, water covered three-fourth's of the world's surface. Kaqui was born into a small clan, he had a large family with many brothers and sisters. The young Chadra-Fan always remembered the intense storms that were common on his homeworld, how they rocked the bayou home he was born in. His clan had to move several times due to massive tsunamis destroying their homes. He lost friends and family in these natural disasters over the years. Around the age of twelve his two oldest brothers, Dali and Rabah left Chad, purchasing an old ship off a visiting merchant to their homeworld. They took the young Kaqui with him, with their clan's blessing. They were inspired by tales of the greater galaxy, inspired to become something amongst the stars. He spent several years on Alderaan, the first planet his brothers had taken him to. There they all worked in a massive factory which manufactured parts for speeders. The trio of Chadra-Fan worked tirelessly around the clock, their rapid metabolisms and quick hands making them excellent workers in the factory. As Kaqui reached maturity he amassed a respectable amount of credits. As a constantly active being he put much of his spare time into repairing and modifying small droids. Many of the droids he upgraded and fixed were just simple machines that aided with chores and menial tasks. Regardless, they were quite common all over the place on Alderaan and the work he did on them made him some decent money. At the age of seventeen Kaqui made the decision to leave Alderaan after he bought a spaceship. He dreamt of seeing the rest of the galaxy, all its sights and sounds. After saying his goodbyes to Dali and Rabah he left the world, promising to see them again someday after he'd become wealthy and somebody important. For several years he simply moved between core worlds, becoming a nomadic merchant. His ship was filled up with all his different wares, useless junk he could turn into something worth spending credits on, weapons, even artwork bought from struggling artists. Between selling his items he'd spend time socializing with locals of worlds, getting drunk at cantinas across the galaxy, dancing at clubs in the hippest parts of town, the Chadra-Fan had come a long way. He ended up on Armania a couple of months into the Imperial's occupation of the world. Kaqui had heard word of the precious materials abound on the world and saw it as an opportunity to make more credits selling machinery he had collected to miners. Upon his arrival at the world he was forced to live in the outer rim of the city. He still managed to be successful as a merchant there, aliens had money too, and he established good enough connections to move some of his wares further inside the capital. Recent times have been troubling for Kaqui though. The Imperials impounded his ship, claiming they had discovered multiple illegal items on it. He hadn't received much trouble from authorities on other worlds before, and just saw it as the Empire's well known anti-alien bias at work. He managed to sneak onto it shortly after it was taken from him, and collect his most valuable wares that he could stuff into bags. Already having gotten his hands into the slowly growing black market on Armania, it was common business for him to sell technically illegal blasters, as well as ones stolen from careless Imperials. He found himself under arrest for that same crime and was given a quick trial. Due to his knowledge and talents with machinery he was seen as a natural fit to work in the mines, he was transferred to the Guild shortly after his conviction. It has been where he has been put to work since then.
