Instead of one virus, there were two now, or something? Regardless of how many there were, she - and the rest of the humans - had a chance of dying. Just as he was about to make a sarcastic quip about how while it was fascinating that she had worked out how the virus would be working, perhaps they'd be better off focusing on how to stop it in the first place, he hesitated as she spoke to the silver-haired guy. "Pietro, I need you to give us a run down of everyone currently active with the Brotherhood." The Brotherhood? Charlie could think of only the one reason off the top of his head why this Pietro guy would be the resident expert on the members - he was one of them. In the past week or so, Charlie had found it hard to avoid the chatter about him in the school, and how he'd betrayed Magneto to help the X-Men after helping beat the crap out of them. He hadn't realised that this was that guy, here on a mission to save the world, which would involve attacking said Brotherhood. "Jesus Christ." He whispered to himself incredulously, running his hands through his hair. As Ayita growled and the blonde beside him began to giggle to herself, Charlie shook his head dejectedly. "The world is screwed."
Nina van Essenhout
 [sub]Location: The X-Van[/sub]

Guinevere's realisation was an assumption, but from what Nina knew of chemistry, was likely an accurate one. Rewriting an entire virus would take time that Magneto didn't have, but using it as a vaccine first would be far easier to protect the Mutants. "... And if we're lucky, perhaps he hasn't released the vaccine yet at all." Nina interjected, adding on to what Guinevere said. "If we can prevent the vaccine from being released, Magneto won't be tempted to become trigger-happy in releasing the virus as we stop him. If it has already been released... well, hopefully we have enough time left before it's affected every mutant in New York. Usually it takes about two weeks for a vaccine to become effective. He's had about a month since the virus was first taken... taking into account how long it would take for the virus to be reworked, we may just be in time here." It was a glimmer of hope; one that made Nina feel a tad more positive about the overall mission. Looking back to Carolina, Nina nodded in agreement to her suggestion. "Taking down security from the inside will help us a lot - even more so if you can take out the power supply as well. They likely have back-up generators, but slowing them down in any way possible is paramount. I'm afraid we'll still need ground teams inside though. Too much is at stake." It was a brave thing for Carolina to suggest; not just from possible personal harm (Who knew what overuse of such a power could lead too), but taking on that kind of responsibility was huge. Clearly, she took after her sister.
