Name: Denach Karkos Rank: Intercessor Battle-Brother Age: 80 Gene-sire: Rogal Dorn Personal Demeanour: Denach is much like his primarch, stern and uncompromising in his pursuit of Imperial greatness and crusade against any of the God=emperor's enemies, but much like the chapter which he aspired to join, Denach has a bit of heresy within him, namely his rage. Due to the fury he feels in combat, many of his battle-brothers suggest he is actually of the traitor Angron's gene-seed. Denach is the most likely to charge an enemy, knife in hand, when in combat, and is needlessly brutal to the Emperor's enemies. Despite Denach's fury and cold demeanor, he cares greatly about his Battle-Brothers and the Imperium in general, wordlessly following the orders of Primarch Guilliman over all others. Denach will pursue whatever objective he is ordered to achieve brutally and efficiently, though when he is rampaging, he can be difficult to control. Denach is rather dismissive of the Codex Astartes and its rules, and much prefers to act in the way that most benefits the Imperial forces on the planet, no matter how detrimental to civilians or others on the planet. Denach is an asset to any assault, and can be trusted to protect his brothers with his life. Description: Sun-tanned skin and a wind-batted face are the main things of note. Denach wears wild black hair and a close-trimmed face. He has no service studs due to being taken as a Primaris before even entering the Executioners chapter, but he bears a scar over his right eyebrow due to the selection process. Standard armor worn in bright yellow color with a red imperial eagle centered on the chest. Eyes are a shade of red and face plate turned a shade of light brown by wear and tear. History: Born on the planet Stygia-Aquilon long before the Executioners chapter betrayed the Imperium and were forced to battle endlessly in repentance, Denach Karkos was a strong child, one of the late 35th millennium. The planet with two suns was desperately hot and bright, men burned in the suns' heat if they weren't careful to stay away from the outdoors on certain days. The wildlife that lived on Stygia-Aquilon was just as resilient as the people who lived on it. The planet is so dangerous that the chapter that recruited from it, the Executioners, among the most violent and brutal of the loyalist chapters, didn't even live on the planet, their fortress-monastery being located on an orbiting asteroid. Despite this horrid environment, a young Denach thrived, surviving on the horrid planetscape of the Executioners' home-world, and eventually aspiring to join the chapter himself. Denach applied to become a space marine and passed every test given to him through sheer determination and utter will to succeed, just as a true scion of Rogal Dorn would. Denach's exceptional talent lead him to be noticed by Belisarius Cawl, who took Denach before he could become a full member of the Executioners and took him to become one of the Emperor's strongest, the secret defenders of the Imperium, waiting for its darkest hour to be called to service against the Imperium's most deadly foes, to protect Terra, and all other worlds in the Imperium. A Primaris Marine. Denach was taken to the forge planet of Mars, where he was healed of the injuries that had resulted from the marine application process and brought to the deepest depths of the city's many underground labyrinths in order to continue the process of becoming a space marine, before being frozen in wait, for a time when his services would be needed. A lot can change in 5000 years, and Denach woke to learn that the chapter that he had dreamed of serving had become heretics, forced to serve 100 years in combat in repentance for their actions. Though deeply distraught by this betrayal of the Imperium, he was pleased to hear that his brothers were attempting to redeem themselves, much like true servants of the Emperor. He took up the colors of Primarch Dorn's chapter, and became one of the many elite marines, marching to crusade against Chaos, and the horrid creatures of the Warp. Denach's experience in the Crusade has been one of incredible hardship, and yet incredible determination. Once he learned that he was only marching on the express permission of a Primarch, Denach marched with far greater effort than he ever had before, serving on the battlefield alongside battle brothers descended of Rogal Dorn, his deceased gene-father, and those descended of Primarch Guilliman, now Imperial Regent. Denach had long waited for his chance to serve the Imperium. Now was his time.
