At first, the idea of travelling was an idea that hadn't set well with Hikari. Some mode of transportation would have been required to travel to the Daywing District, and Hikari didn't quite have a good view of automobiles. Nevertheless, the invitation was one of importance, and a few words from people Hikari trusted convinced her to face her fears to explore what the Daywing District could offer. Thankfully, the scenic Japanese countryside was enough to calm Hikari until she reached Cystra City, the complex and advanced city housing the district. As she arrived, an attendant assisted Hikari with her belongings, as they did with anyone else that arrived. Despite receiving the same treatment as others, Hikari felt like a foreigner in her own homeland as she was helped out of the car. Some of the attendees had their own bands, and others had fancy amps or other various musical equipment. Yet for someone like Hikari, it had been just herself, her belongings and the wheelchair she had been bound to. Feeling so out of place made Hikari wish her friends had accompanied her, and that their group was still active. Still, Hikari had pressed on, taking some time to explore the facility. The Daywing District was fancy, even for someone well adjusted to city life. Everything seemed sleek and modern, evident that thousands of yen and other currency had been funneled into its creation. Even the attendants and staff had shown that they were picked for their qualities, evident by their regard for the attendees. Eventually, there was a call for everyone to arrive at one of the auditoriums within the complex. Rather than struggle fighting the crowd, Hikari decided to roll her wheelchair towards one of the back rows, watching from afar. The man on the center stage introduced himself as Kuroba Tadashi, one of the founders of the Daywing District. Greeting the attendees, Kuroba went on to explain the future of their stay at the district as straightforward as he could with his knowledge of English. After hearing Kuroba speak of what was planned, Hikari wondered what she could partake in. There were many options to choose from, but now was not the time to think if Hikari wanted to leave the auditorium. Kuroba dismissed the attendees to the tune of applause, including Hikari, and so began the storm of at least three hundred musicians. Wishing not to be stuck in the crowd with her wheelchair, Hikari left at the earliest convenience, and made way to where her room would be. Due to her disability, it was easy for Hikari to find her room with the help of some of the staff. Placed on the ground floor of Block B, Hikari was given her key card to open the door. Finding the location of her room with relative ease, Hikari opened the door, only to be greeted with wonder. Like the rest of the Daywing District, the room was modern and sleek, and some areas, such as the bathroom, had been made accessible for Hikari to use. However, perhaps the room had been too wonderful. The sounds of failed attempts to get inside along with a faint chuckle surprised Hikari, who realized she had forgot that she had a roommate. "C-Coming!" Hikari exclaimed, rolling herself over towards the door. Unlocking it, Hikari was met face-to-face with the waist of someone she had never met before. From what Hikari could see, the man was tall, perhaps at least six foot, and stood out with a limp. "Ah, you must be..." Hikari paused, trying to remember the name she read off the room list. What was it again? Thorn? Tom? No, wait... Thom! "Thom, correct? I didn't mean to lock you out of your room. I hope you'll forgive me." Hikari replied with a slight giggle, bowing her head to replicate her version of a Japanese greeting as best as she could in a wheelchair. Moving her wheelchair backwards, Hikari gave way to allow Thom inside, and perhaps explore on his own.
[@RumikoOhara][@LetMeDoStuff][@PrincePierce][@OliveYou]
