A few questions; are irl grappling techniques, as shown in HEMA treatises and manuals, but not present ingame, allowed? Do wooden weapons, such as nanigatas or halberds actually stop cuts with static blocks or can they break within 2-3 blocks like irl? Lastly, does armor actually play a significant role in movement or protection? I notice that in For Honor, armor essentially doesn't do much. Characters move with about the same speed and plate does nothing to deflect cuts, arrows, or thrusts. So, will it come into factor at all if say, a shirtless viking suffered a minor cut as opposed to a fully plated knight, or would they be dealt the exact same amount of damage?
