Laphicet continued to move in the knights grasp. He thought that with enough movement he might be able to set himself free. Unfortunately for him, Nyte's attempts to calm him down only made him embarrassed and squirm even more. A bright pink blush dusted the boy's pale cheeks as his ears flattened harder against his head. Although he was relieved to hear that Sunny didn't completely abandon him, hearing this forest guardian refer to Sunny as his mother was too embarrassing for him to handle; at that point Laphi was more than prepared to hide under a rock for the rest of his life. Finally, after enough struggling, Laphicet was put down and he backed away at the same time that Nyte had. He clutched his tarot cards tightly to his chest as he watched the knight move and speak, his ears twitching every time Nyte moved. And although he didn't respond to anything Nyte said, his eyes followed the girl as she made her way up onto the porch, probably to get a better look at the armor they were assigned to get her. ...Wait a second... Curiosity getting the better of him, Laphicet struggled to get himself up the porch. He stood quite a bit away from the hollow knight and was silent for the most part...that is, until he gathered enough courage to say something. "...Wh-Why do you lie to Sunny?" The child kept his tarot cards in hand in case the knight did anything funny. "You're not a f-forest guardian." He continued, lowering his head in the process. [@Mokley][@Jade113]
