Pria winced at the mention of Hannah. Her mom might not have noticed, and Pria she didn't mean anything by it but this wasn't the first time the two had been compared. The sad tone in her voice destroyed Pria. She loved her mom more then anything, they were all each other really had for most of her youth and even as a child she appreciated how hard she worked fro Pria's sake. But Pria also couldn't deny what and who she wanted to be. As she was about to explain that thought her mother followed up with a comment about Pria's father. It wasn't like they avoided talking about him, but he didn't come up often. A brow went up at the tone he was mentioned in here though. For as long as she could remember he was looked at with reverence, so this was odd to hear. "Mom...Are you worried I'll end up like my dad?" The thought hadn't even crossed her mind. Sure, in some place deep down Pria looked up to her father. She wasn't exactly a pro-war type of person but she respected what he had done. Not only that but her mother always spoke well of him, and that instilled a very strong image of him in her head. But the idea that her mom wouldn't want her to be anything like him was surprising. Not because he ended up dead, of course her mom didn't want that, but because he left. Pria was confused inside now. She felt, guilty? Maybe a little mad too. She didn't think it was fair for her to think this way, but hearing her father slandered even a little set something off in her. But she wasn't about to say anything like that.
