She has long, straight black hair that has a purple tinge. Her skin is fair, however she has patches of scales that are recognizable as Pangolin plates, the majority of them being on her back. She has that look of 'Lone wolf' about her that can deter many that may or may not want to speak with her. However, it's important to note that she doesn't do this on purpose.. It's just that her personality seems to make it look that way. Mag is a very carefree soul, and it's often to a point where she comes off as extremely apathetic as her usual motto is "Why worry?" Because of this 'motto' of sorts, she brushes off even the most pressing of things without a care in the world. Obviously there are a few things that she does care about; but that's mostly food, and perhaps some close friends if she ever has one. A lot of this seem quite negative, but she's a nice, hardworking person.. Subjectively. Magnhild isn't an aggressive person, but sometimes her frank way of speaking makes her the target of aggression. But even that's shrugged off. Mag seems to hold resentment toward anyone that has any positive relation to the Military. Her birth was dubbed a miracle by her parents and what was left of her extended family, as her mother had gone through two miscarriages, both via medical complications. Her birth was probably the only nice thing that happened. As a Chimera in Airelosia, it was a wonder that her family was still alive. Especially in the parts where she lived. Magnhild lived in the slums which were seemingly lawless. The Military officers that frequented the area seemed to only be there to reaffirm their iron grip on society by beating it into the people. Literally. As a Chimera, Magnhild didn't live very peacefully. Her scales were obvious, thus making her the target of violence, even amongst children her own age. Bullied and beaten, the children soon found it to be no fun as almost all their attempts to physically harm her were ineffective. However, the abuse from the military personnel was quite different from a child's. A grown man's boot was a lot tougher than a kid's slipper. Despite all this, Mag always tried to come home with a smile so that her parents wouldn't worry too much about her. The bruises had the opposite effect, of course. As luck would have it, around the age of fourteen, Magnhild's life changed. For the worse. Desperately poor, her father resorted to theft. Stealing small fruits and bread rolls from a small shop. He was caught by the soldiers that loitered around the town. He was immediately put down, saying that he was 'an undomesticated Chimera.' It wasn't long before those soldiers kicked down her home's rotting door. Seizing her and her mother. Her mother struggled against the soldiers, freeing Magnhild in the process. She screamed at her daughter, telling her to run and never to look back. The young Chimera did as she was told, running as fast as she could, as far as she could. A single gunshot rang out on that cold, rainy day. Masked by the sound of raindrops soon after. Magnhild ran until her legs gave out, collapsing somewhere in the forest. She woke up in a bed after some time. According to the weird looking person in the room, about seven days. A weird tube in her arm and in a place of white sheets and clean smells. 'A hospital' is what they called it. They asked her many questions about her origins, most of which she couldn't answer. She didn't even know the name of the town she was from. But somehow she had found herself in the Unoctocan Empire. A couple of travelers had brought her here. She was soon put into a foster home. Her foster father was... Interesting to say the least. A man who lived simply and without worry, while also being a Martial artist. It took awhile for Magnhild to open up to him; but when she did, his way of life naturally became hers. Adopting his motto as her own, "Why worry?" He often spoke of experiencing what the world has to offer, and to make sure that she was earnest in what she did. Her foster father often marveled at her physical durability whenever they trained, and came to some roundabout conclusion, saying it was magical. He thought this was a great opportunity for Mag to learn something more interesting than his martial art. Magic. Simply put, she was enrolled into the Mordhaben's Institute without any real knowledge in magic or anything in general. Other: - Her name is pronounced 'Maahg-Hild', but she tends to tell people to just called her 'Mag'. - The plates on her body are extremely tough, akin to super hard iron plating. Bulletproof for the most part.
