Previous Name(s): Flamekit, Flamepaw. Breed: Turkish Van/Maine Coon. Age: 24 moons. Gender: Tom. Clan: OakClan. Rank: Warrior. Mentor(s): Fogpool. (NPC) Apprentice(s): Daisypaw. Parents: Frostface (NPC, deceased), Wildheart (NPC, deceased). Sibling(s): Finchwing. (NPC) Mate(s): N/A. Kit(s): N/A Backstory: “You’d expect a cat with a heritage like yours to be a lot less cowardly, don’t you think?” Flametail was born in OakClan as an orphan, as his mother, Wildheart, had complications when birthing her kits. His father had died before he was born, and he only had one other sibling, a brother named Finchwing. Flametail is descended from a line of exceptional warriors from many clans, including OakClan. His father, Frostface, was much loved throughout the clan until his untimely death. That being said, he has always had pressure upon his shoulders and was always expected to be just like good ol’ dad. But that was never the case. Flametail was slow to learn as an apprentice, often frustrating his mentor. Finchwing became a warrior a moon before him, despite being the youngest in the litter of two. After his own warrior ceremony, Flametail became somewhat aloof from the clan, especially since his brother got all of the attention, attention that Flametail didn’t seem to care about. Finchwing’s pride slowly started to draw a gap between the brothers, and now the two hardly exchange anything other than a quick glance. Brief Personality: Flametail tends to keep to himself, but he is not shy. He is fairly easy to get along with, and is a very kind tom who will look out for those he holds close to his heart. He doesn’t have many friends, but the few he does speak with from time to time always say good things about him. He is always willing to help those in need (if they don’t call for his brother first). But what he makes up for in brains (and kindness), he lacks in brawn and courage. Flametail uses his head most of the time, which means he is not willing to fight when it comes to combat. He will either try to talk an enemy out of violence or he will flee, and more often than not he will be forced to choose the latter. He is not a coward, despite what most of his clan believes. He thinks of himself as smart. Flametail knows a battle between himself and another will be unmatched, as he has never, ever been the best at combat. Although a fight would not result in death, it would be very close, os he tends to practice evading targets rather than subduing them. Previous Name(s): Anya. Breed: Persian x Ragdoll x Norwegian Forest Cat. Age: 9 moons. Gender: She-cat. Clan: OakClan. Rank: Apprentice. Mentor(s): Flametail. Apprentice(s): N/A. Parents: Hibiscus (NPC, deceased), Marek (NPC, deceased). Sibling(s): Mara (NPC), Oren (NPC, deceased), Anju (NPC, deceased). Mate(s): N/A. Kit(s): N/A. Backstory: “I’m sorry, Anya. The Clans will take care of you.” Daisypaw has only been in Oakclan for 2 moons. She was born a loner named Anya. No, not a rogue, not an ex-clan cat. A loner. Her family lived south of LightClan, where they lived a pretty quiet life away from other cats. While the family did have friends (other loners, of course), they were never really close with anyone. The family managed well on their own, but without the safety of an organized group (such as a clan), they were more susceptible to attacks and of course, treason without consequence. Anya had an older sister from a previous litter named Mara who became interested in a group of rogues that often harassed other cats and sometimes, even the clans. Since a love interest of Mara’s had rejected her after joining a clan, she decided to get back at him and used the group for leverage and protection. She promised her family would not be harmed as long as they didn’t get in their way, but their mother, Hibiscus, threatened to “disown” her if she followed through. Mara grew angry and somewhat hurt over this news, and decided to make her family comply with force. However, her new groupmates took this the wrong way and instead of scaring and bribing the family, started to slaughter them. Mara managed to save Anya and led her far away, just until the rogues stopped chasing them down. Little did she know that the rogues only stopped tracking them once they smelled the border markers of OakClan, and ran off. Unable to cope with her acts of treason, Mara reassured Anya that soon, a clan-cat would find her and make her into a sturdy, robust warrior. After hearing someone approaching in the bushes, Mara quickly ran off, and seconds later, a white and orange tom appeared to check out the scene. His eyes met Anya, and soon, that would be the start of her life as a clan-cat--this time, as Daisypaw. Brief Personality: Daisypaw is misunderstood, especially by apprentices and other cats around her age. She is mistaken for a mean-spirited spoiled brat given her tendency to be Scroogelike when it comes to sharing food. But that is due to how she was raised. Being a loner, you didn’t have a freshkill pile, you had to take your fill or starve. Alas, Daisypaw doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. She’s just not used to being in a large group of cats that aren’t family, which causes her to shy away from others--and of course, others to shy away from her. Although mildly unapproachable, Daisypaw is actually quite an interesting cat indeed. She learns quickly and is always ready for an adventure, no matter the circumstances. That being said, she is rather courageous, which stems from her distant upbringing. However, her bravery can often get her into trouble, and the fact that she is bright when it comes to learning as an apprentice can make her complacent. Once she learns something new, she grows bored quickly, which is why her mentor, Flametail, has a difficult time with her. Other than that, she is a young she-cat that can be easy to get along with, as long as you’re nice to her. She’s loyal to her new clan, and maybe even a little hostile towards outsiders (but that’ll be more evident later…)
A warrior of BoulderClan. Previous Name(s): Creekkit, Creekpaw. Breed: Maine Coon x Turkish Angora. Age: 18 moons. Gender: She-cat. Clan: BoulderClan. Rank: Warrior. Mentor(s): Mothwing. (NPC) Apprentice(s): N/A. Parents: Ghostbelly (NPC), Silentstep (NPC, deceased). Sibling(s): Coldshadow (NPC). Mate(s): N/A. Kit(s): N/A. Brief History: Creekwhisper, a native of BoulderClan, is a descendant of one of the famous AshClan warriors. However, she never really felt special (and she really shouldn't). Thankfully, nobody really treated her and her brother, Coldshadow, differently; or her mother, Ghostbelly, for that matter. Creekwhisper and her shady brother blended in with the rest of the BoulderClan cats and never really wanted to stand out, enjoying their mediocre lifestyles. However, when her brother obtained a mate only two days after his warrior ceremony, things started to take an interesting turn. Creekwhisper became more interested in the tom-cats of her clan, wondering just exactly how love really felt. In turn, a suitor named Wolfheart grew interested in her, and the two were inseparable. Creekwhisper was just happy to have found someone she thought would be a good partner. But after a while, she recognized that wasn't the case. Wolfheart grew profound feelings for Creekwhisper, which sadly could be reciprocated no longer. After breaking the news to him, without a reason why (quite frankly, she didn't have a good reason), Wolfheart was hurt. He did leave her alone, though, but Creekwhisper's guilt got the best of her. She felt uncomfortable in the camp grounds while Wolfheart was around, and found refuge elsewhere, more specifically, between the borders of BoulderClan and CliffClan. Personality: Creekwhisper is very modest and humble. Some of her peers claim she is mature well beyond her years, mentally. However, when it comes to her curiosities, she can be a little naive, but her naivety has yet to get her into trouble. That brings us to another trait about her. She is smart and while she makes mistakes like any other cat, she will never make the same one twice. A somewhat negative thing about her is that she doesn't value friendships as much as her brother. Unless you're close to her. It's not hard to get close to her, but it does indeed take a while before she starts building deep connections with others. Given so, she only has a couple of friends from childhood. This trait is also probably why she never worked things out with Wolfheart, feeling as though he fell too fast and rushed. Creekwhisper needs time to observe the situation before making a final decision. But she is a treasured friend to have indeed if things work out, and is fiercely loyal to those she holds dearly.
