Literally an interest check at this point, but how would someone feel about a new/unknown branch of the Ministry of Magic dedicated to the discovery and creation of new spells and words that could change the potential of the magical world?

I was thinking a modern setting, so maybe the discovery of spells in alien or eldritch languages, learning to combine magic with technology, or various other situations related to this one.

The tone would be comedic/humorous with maybe an episodic flow - think like an ensemble cast that goes to different locations so they could learn to create new spells and the ridiculous adventures that move along the way, but it could be twisted around as you feel. It's a cool hole to fill I think in the HP-related universe, but I wouldn't want this to depend super-heavily on deep lore. Just a general knowledge of the main books/movies would be fine.
