Then her eyes roamed about the rest of the room. Seemed some people were ducking out already to other parts of the house. Looking over to Thalia she smiled a bit. "Thanks, I'm going to step out for some fresh air. Excuse me," she said before following to where Maria had gone. The kid had looked a little ill when she had shown up and while she wasn't a pediatrician and probably needed to avoid getting sick at all costs, seeing a sick kid didn't sit well with her. Ever the doctor she stepped outside and wandered the garden until she spotted Maria sitting there rubbing Liam's back as he kept rocking back and forth on his knees trying to crawl. "Strong kid," Natasha said to announce her presence. "Like his mother," Maria said without looking over to Natasha. She wasn't telling her to go away so Natasha approached slowly and sat down on a bench near Liam and Maria. Maria looked over to Natasha and straightened herself up a bit. "So how did you meet Caesar?" she asked rather bluntly. That was a question she hadn't expected and one she really didn't want to answer but she did anyways. Natasha was blunt when it came to most things. Better to be blunt than to sugar coat things and people misreading what was said. "I had to do the autopsy on Miss Dunn and your daughter..." she admitted. Maria's lips narrowed a bit as she looked back down at Liam but she said nothing. It answered her question well enough, for now. Diamond District: "Sounds good to me," Zoie said as she fluffed her own hair a bit before opening the door and heading down the hallway. "Let's go get our do done then shall we?" she giggled. As much as Zoie knew they were going to have to get serious that evening to get a job done, Zoie was enjoying herself right then. It had been forever since she had been able to do something like this. Just hang out with someone, get the full treatment. It was nice. Granted she would have rather spent her entire day out on the ranch, riding horses and swimming in the pond by her house but that wasn't going to happen. At least not today. Maybe another day, when things were calmer. As they came out to the main area Wayne clapped his hands. "Oh yes, I get you! Yes, you," he said pointing to Mali. "I know all about her. Don't want to swap stories of decades ago. So you come with me, sit. Please, tell me what the Goddess Mali wishes my magical hands to do today? Any idea? Color, shape? What will you be doing this evening?" Zoie gave Mali a bit of a look as if to say "Good luck" as she was ushered to the seat next to Waynes station by a woman about her own age who was much quieter than Wayne was. Granted a nuclear bomb seemed to make less noise than that man did. Police Department: Station 54: "Oh trust me I will. It's Lawson's case," he said to Riley as his phone rang. He ignored it at first, keeping his attention on Riley. "It should have been open and close. Shit was on TV. Recorded. Seems cut and dry but no. Some fucker from the FBI reopened the case which in turn made the chief reopen it and slap it on my desk. FBI agent by the name of..." he said before reaching into his desk and pulling out the file, double checking. "Tinder. Special Agent Marc Fucking Tinder, whoever the fuck that is." The phone kept ringing. "Beer sounds good. Hopefully I can look into this and we can sneak the fuck out of here," he added but the phone kept going. Seemed it wasn't going to stop. Groaning he finally picked up the phone. "Station 54, Gregory speaking, what do you want?" FBI Headquarters Justice: Marc sighed a bit as he rubbed his face. "Shot to the chest was the official cause of death. There were more bullet wounds but that was the one that took Lawson out. The tape is still around, it is in evidence. From what was gathered by those that reported to the scene it matched up with what was televised. Though I don't think that was all of it. The arms dealer was known to keep his areas fully recorded so he could ensure that others were not stealing from him. Yet when searched nothing remained. I believe they were taken for some reason and they show what went down before the two were gunning each other down in board daylight." Shaking his head he picked up a picture that was on his desk, tapping his finger on it a few times before turning it around and showing it to Priya. It was a picture of Marc and Lawson in some desert. Both were in full military packs, weapons, looked like they had just been through hell but Lawson was still smiling. "This was after am ambush. We didn't think we were going to make it out but we managed to. Lawson never let it get him down. Smiling ear to ear right then even though we had just come out of hell." Justice Asylum: "Hell if I know. All I know is they were trying to send someone if they could get in contact with her. They said it could be a couple of hours," Nurse Cratty said. "Or in no time, or never," she added as she watched Jaina. "Said the woman was newly transferred so she didn't have other assignments to deal with as of yet. If they could find her they would send her over." "As far as that goes doc, you would need to put in the request. Most doctors don't like sharing that type of file with nurses. I could get it but I assure you, you'll have an easy time and it will be faster. Anyways, I have rounds. Orderly is outside the door if you need him," she added before walking out of the door and closing it behind her. She obviously had no intention of staying around any longer. She had helped the new doctor out, had her a half assed "body guard" at the door for her, had done what she could to get them a translator. Now it was time to see to the other patients.
